emotion isnt only just crying. you can tell he was touched by allah's words. for example when i listen to the quraan i get goosebumps all over my body and i my eyes start to water but u wont normally see that if ur looking at me and ur not familiar with muslims. we call that "khshoo3" or خشوع . so basically it is the fear of allah that you see on a human being once he listens to the holy quran or when he prays to allah. if you have been around muslims when they listen to the quraan or when they pray ul know what i mean

That is not correct. We recite quran during Janazah prayer before burial. It is for the deceased not the living. When you do Umra or Hajj for a dead person it includes praying 2 rakaa in front of maqam prophet ibrahim which includes quran recitation. Check what scholars said about this subject as some of them even said volunteer prayers deeds reaches the dead if it was done for them like charity. Besides that it is widely reported that the deceased is benefited of this when they are seen in visions by their family of friends who send them dua & quran recitation deeds.
@ I’ve been training for over 25 years in combat, training is good. But fighting hitting the face half naked is haram, whether you approve or disapprove. So the only way to protect our families is by doing haram ? Victory comes from Allah alone, so if have to defend myself i take the means and train and ask Allah for help, is that so difficult to understand?
