The heroes thought they were finally saving the world by reuniting Sindel and Kitana. As it was believed Sindel was the key to everything. Her resurrection resulted in the merging of the realms and Kitana reuniting with her was suppose to undo everything but the point of it being a trick was by the time they found out it was a hoax that Sindel was not the key to saving the world, from the villains point of view it was “now its almost too late for u to do anything about it so the realms are almost completely merged nothing u can do this late in the game. We win u lose ur fucked.”
