Great video I enjoyed it. It's great to see the old Glasgow buses from the 1960s to the 1980s pre first Glasgow. The down side is larkfield bus depot doesn't exist anymore there is going to be a housing development on the old site. I also ĺiķed the newer first bus dòuble and single deckers it's great.
Thanks for this, I enjoyed the day and one of the First Bus Employees gave a commentary on the bus whilst going round the depot, but great to see this and also big thanks to First Glasgow and GVVT
sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Terrance Louis Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Certain cities should be certain colours. Part of the heartbeat of Glasgow is shown here. Whether it’s GCT, GGPTE. or SB colours they all feel more part of the city than First’s colour schemes ever will. The buses of Glasgow deserve Glasgow livery.
When I worked at Caledonia Depot, it was full of buses/coaches from First (Manchester and Yorkshire) Ulsterbus, East Yorkshire, Metro, Travel West Midlands, Reading Buses, National Holidays to name few. Back then, during the Commonwealth Games 2014 it was Gushett Falls and wasn't even completed. Another 2 depots were used, Bridgeton and Cumbernauld
@@mollsmyre don't work there now, was just a few weeks before transferring to Cumbernauld and it was just during the Games. Been past it a few times and it certainly.looks different lol
Do you love this video? Then go to the Riverside museum in Glasgow. It is a museum of transport and it has old underground trains, trams, bikes, cars, buses and trains.
The old Glasgow green and yellow livery looks really smart on the Wright Eclipse Gemini. If First Group could revert to traditional liveries in each city . . . . But forget Strathclyde orange and black - Glasgow's miles better!
Another Extremely great video with people going about there business (keep it up)

Thank You, So glad you enjoyed the video. Sadly nothing stays the same for long nowadays
4:24: Now THAT is a proper bus! Looking as new. Sadly, none of Tayside's 'A' reg Ailsa buses survive.
I couldnt agree more.

That sounds like a good Idea to me
I was just thinking how nice the Strathclyde orange looks.
A year on and the 3 modern buses are still running around in their vintage colours, spotted the Strathclyde orange on the 41 route this morning
