Growing up in a family that went through much turmoil that went from middle to lower-class since my father lost his career job and couldn't get back in. Some abuse and such that went on and made it hard to speak up. My father always cooked amazing meals for us. But when it was a serious struggle, he would make this stuff and I loved it every time. Hamburger helper is so good!

Man I remember when I was 5-6 my older sister would make Hamburger helper for my family, our mom or my sister called us downstairs and we sat at the table waiting for our plates as we watched Spongebob or a batman/marvel movie, when we got our plates we would say grace and dig right in to the food, every bite I took was amazing as it was. I am so glad I got to experience that delicious taste in my childhood. To those who never did, I seriously recommend that you buy yourself some and also the beef stroganoff because it is really good with groundmeat!

I ate hamburger helper somuch growing up even until i moved out last year. in my mexican household we ate it with pickled jalapeños, mexican sour cream, and sometimes cheese. Its so good!! I love this video so much, where i live now it isnt easy for me to eat ground beef but god I want to eat hamburger helper again 😭

I grew up in Mexico so I never had it until I was going to College here in the states. Broke college kid made it through with HH. I also had a span of about 10 years before I had it again. Same throwback experience except I LOVE the Beef Stroganoff one! I add sautéed mushrooms and a dollop of sour cream 😋

Hey, Ben. If you love the old “Ham Help,” I think you will also probably enjoy a DIY version of the famous spaghetti and chili at the old Bob’s Big Boy restaurant chain. Just heat up a can of chili WITHOUT beans-either Dennison’s or Hormel brand-and add to cooked spaghetti. I feel you so hard on this one dude I don't know if you remember but there was one it was like an Italian style Hamburger Helper and it used to be my favorite and it came with this parmesan cheese that you put on the top at the end it was so good!!!

I grew up pretty poor to the point where sometimes we didn’t know when our next meal was or if school lunch was going to be our only meal. But even now and then hamburger helper became our staple meal since it was so cheap and affordable. Honestly this brings back memories.
