As much as it hurts me to say this… Tovolar is the real deal

The thing about Tovolar is that he is really good in a deck like this. In werewolf tribal he is still good but the deck becomes very casual as werewolves are meh. Every cEDH deck list I have seen runs like five other werewolves besides Tovolar. So, what I am saying, is that this isn't Tovolar being amazing. It is just a deck that is packed with powerful things. Every cEDH deck list I see only has 5-7 other werewolves. I just wanted to say this cause I wish they would make werewolves better and match their mechanics.
Edit: My point was that you can do this with any Gruul commander so this doesn't actually showcase Tovolar at all. Before anyone yells at me, yes, I get it is cause he is three mana and draws cards.
Just wanted to note that the tangle wire wouldn't leave the battlefield until the following turn. It dies when you can't remove a counter.

at 7:08 not that it would've mattered but you tapped City of Brass to the Wire triger so you should've taken 1 damage (City of Brass deals 1 damage to you whenever it gets tapped) and also at 9:30 Tangle Wire doesn't go to the graveyard when the last counter is removed but when you can't remove more counters from it (again not that it mattered but it might for a Dockside)

just a small thing city of brass always deal damage to you when tap not only when used.

I’ll definitely bring it back out again soon! It has a hard time adjusting to the meta becoming more creature based but it’s still pretty sweet

hey Jared my dude. What do you normally use chalice of the void in the deck, do u usually put 2 counters or just 1 counter?
If it’s in my opener or if I have it very early game I’ll drop it for 0. I’m running very few free rocks and a chalice on 0 is very difficult to storm through should an opponent go for an ad naus or something. Late game, 1 or 2 depending on the board state and where I’m at in the game.

Thanks guys! I created just a high version leaned towards tribal. When I watched Jared's piloting this version this spark my inclination to put up a similar deck and try it out in spell table.
