I love Morocco , travelled there extensively. The goats are made to do that for tourism. Captured goats, they are in the sun all day. In the wild they will climb trees for the nuts.
FYO, Those poor goats are forced to sit on top of the trees for long hours by the greedy owners so when the tourist buses pull over . The tourists are like Wow they're so cute. Not knowing that the poor goats are suffering. Expect to fork some money when taking pictures it's not free. Goats are very active animals by nature they like to jump and move around a lot. It can go on top of the tree but not to sit idol for hours .
I think you missed to visit site one very important small city called Ifrane not far from from Fez. Also in your next Trip! discover the north Mediterranean where you will find some beautiful beaches …

I love Morocco , travelled there extensively. The goats are made to do that for tourism. Captured goats, they are in the sun all day. In the wild they will climb trees for the nuts.
We found out there are some natural goats you can find, we saw them along the way too!
