Hi Dave and Helen. We’ve stayed at Caister in a cottage that was right on the beach and the sands were lovely. Great Yarmouth reminds me of our childhood holidays. Your very lucky to live a few minutes from the beach. We saw Jim Davidson at a Brownhills event last year. He was really good. Hello to you...we've been watching Yr channel for quite a while now... we live in Norwich...an have stayed at Caister haven Park a few times over the years....I'm gutted to see the touring field has gone.. This was where we stayed on our very first time in our 2004 conqueror twin back in2010....anyway you now mentioned ferry meadows we've been a few times an it's really nice lots of dog walking round 3 big lakes...an yes you can get a full English breakfast in the park right next to the site. An sandy gulls is another one we go to every year. Keep up the vids.. Cheers matt an trace.

My parents went to the Norfolk Broads for two weeks every year for donkeys years. It had to include a trip to Gt. Yarmouth and a trip to Oulton Broad to see the Speedboat racing.

I see from the video, Dave prefers to be the driver. Lol. Must admit have lived in the area for years but never managed to visit Caister Beach, spend a lot of time Gorleston side of the river and further up the coast. But we are so lucky to have so much on our door steps.

Ferry Meadows is ok , we like the Lake and the Parkrun on Saturday mornings. Leaving Norfolk is always a tough decision though 😂. Best wishes H and M

What about trying a trip up here to the North West.. we have some really lovely places to plonk the caravan!! You could even visit the home of the Black Pudding.. Bury market!! 😂

We have however been discussing a trip to Morecambe and the Lakes but not sure if we can fit it in this year. Great video dave@helen popped up to Caister last weekend to drop my caravan upholstery off to be re done is that pub still on or very near to the beach in Caister Had a drive into hemsby, the beach not looking very good but managed a big breakfast in the two way cafe😀
