Question for Nick or anyone. Are hot and bothered, puddle jumper and any of the other old rods from the 70s still around? My boyfriend and I went to lots of the hot rod meets back then aswell as the custom car shows at Ally Pally etc. I think hirise henry is still around. There was a mk 1 cortina with a v8 from norwich ( where we lived) but i think that caught on fire. I left uk in 81 and lost contact with uk rodding scene.
Yes Hot 'n' Bothered is still around along with many others from the 70s including all of Nick Butler's cars. Some still look the same and many have gone through different guises over the years. My Y was built in the 80s when it was full fendered and pink but now has cycle fenders on the front and bobbed rear and is yellow but it's still the same car. The Mk 1 Cortina you mention was probably Paul Wayling's car. That was rebuilt after the fire but I've not seen it for many years...
@@NickPettitt thanks, yes Paul wayling was the person, my boyfriend knew him better. We attended the nsra annual meets at little billing, Beaulieu, and others I can't remember.

Nice turnout, Nick. Couldn't make it this year, unfortunately. Mart.
