    • @TamBramThankyouMam
      @TamBramThankyouMam 14 дней назад

      Think it is clear in India now that Hasina was not a popular leader and that the students had a lot of genuine issues. From India, people were looking at only the economic statistics. It is also clear in India that the student movement was hijacked in service of a coup that is unlikely to improve the situation in Bangladesh. One genuine loss in the last few weeks is the goodwill that Bangladeshis had among regular Indian people.

    Bangladesh has chosen its own path. We have similar feelings toward both Sheikh Hasina and Mujib, as many perceive them as authoritarian. However, people are still afraid of Hasina and the Awami League, which is why they don't speak out against Mujib. Mujib is not our founder or the so-called "Father of the Nation." This narrative was propagated by the Awami League and Indian influence. We live in a modern society, and the events of 1971 were a collective struggle by the people against 24 years of oppression from Pakistan. Mujib was the main leader, but it wasn't solely his dream. The idea that it was his alone is ridiculous to us.

    • @nnx1111
      @nnx1111 14 дней назад +4

      Holy hell. It did not even click for me that they were trying to feed us it was Mujib's dream alone. Now that I think about it you might be right. Mujib was absent in whole war-time but he's always first in the history book. We started to forget our true hero's of the war. This is a very sad situation.

    কথোপকথন শেষে ভারতের ভাইসরয় মাওলানাকে বললেন, আপনি যদি ইংরেজি জানেন তবে ইংরেজিতে কথা বলেননি কেন?
    মাওলানা আজাদ খুব অবাক করা উত্তর দিলেন। তিনি বললেন, তুমি হাজার মাইল দূর থেকে এসেও তোমার ভাষা ছাড়নি, আর আমি আমার ঘরে বসে কি করে আমার ভাষা ছেড়ে তোমার ভাষায় কথা বলি?
    * অথচ উনি ফোর্স করছেন হিন্দিতে কথা বলতে! বাংলাদেশের অধিকাংশ মানুষ উর্দু বা হিন্দি বুঝে এবং বলতেও পারে, তাছাড়া আমাদের পুরান ঢাকার মানুষ শত শত বছর যাবৎ বাংলার পাশাপাশি নিজস্ব ঢাকাইয়া উর্দু ভাষায়ও কথা বলে থাকে, কিন্ত্তু তাই বলে ভারতের কোন মিডিয়া আমাদের ছাত্রদের হিন্দিতে কথা বলার জন‍্যে ফোর্স করতে পারেনা 🙄
