- Children in Uganda at Happy Generation Children’s Ministry are living a challenging but very full life out in the countryside. An important aspect of Torch of Christ Ministries is to always help where we are able to do so. These little ones live a very modest life and do it with a smile. There are many needs. If you would like to contribute to this orphanage, brother Abraham’s mother in England has a PayPal set up for him where you can contribute directly. I’ve used this method to give quite a few times in the past successfully. Prayerfully support these children.

Some items of need and areas for prayer:
Brother Abraham and this orphanage have absolutely no vehicle to get supplies or to transport these children anywhere. They use a taxi to buy groceries.
The orphanage building is not completely finished. The inside ceiling is undone.
The kitchen consists of what you see in the video.
I would like to provide a way for the water to be fed through piping up to the orphanage instead of the children having to carry it so far.
I would also love to see a second water pump installed for the surrounding community to use so that families aren’t drinking from a mud puddle anymore.
At minimum, bicycles are needed for the children to get to school.

I thank God for the missionary works ....I am a Ugandan and in 1998 when I was just 2years old God blessed me and I got a missionary scholarship that helped me attain my education and am blessed I have a job and also want to help those who are in need ...Amen Jesus is good

This broke my heart in so many ways. Lord protect your young beautiful children. May your resources from Heaven pour into their lives. I pray you will send resources for them to have clean water, for them to have basic necessities. Lord I thank you for the missionaries like Phillip, thank you for the hearts of the men and women in Uganda for opening up this orphanage. Lord bless them abundantly in Jesus mighty name.

This broke my heart. give a juice to a kid in the West...he wont only look at you oddly but chances are he wont even say thank you because it's too small of a gift... sad what the devil has done in the world but Jesus Christ s coming back soon! May God bless these children and deliver them from the enemy in Jesus Christ's name.

I had watched another video that made me weep so hard that I had to come visit this again. All I could do was to thank God that these children have Abraham and his wife. You can tell these children are loved and wanted there. But there are babies in orphanages who no longer cry because there is no one to come to comfort them. They become "failure to thrive" babies and will die from broken hearts or grow up thirsting for love. Hence why the little angel in the village would not let go of your neck at the meal for street children, Phillip. God has planted them in my heart and I will always have such a strong desire to love those precious children of Uganda. They are no longer unwanted. Because I want them all and pray special prayers for them every day. Thank you brother Phillip for bringing them into my life through these videos.

Karina Manono it’s a very important part of their diet here. :) not my favorite thing I’ve ever eaten personally but the porridge was great and I loved the groundnut sauce we put on the potatoes and cassava.

In the video I really wanted to see how the children peeled the skin off the cassava, because just so recently (around Thanksgiving) I learnt that the easier way for peeling, is to make a spiraling cut into the skin from one end to the other, just deep enough and then all the skin will just come off as a long spiral and hey presto! you're done. Before that I was trying to get the skin off with the knife in bits and pieces. It was a blessing to watch the kids work. Father God please bless and keep everyone of them in Jesus Mighty Name. Amem
I've heard that the cassava has to go through a process to.remove the poison that the root naturally produces as a way to like defend itself. When it detects it's being attacked it gives off a poison, so it goes to a factory i guess and goes through a process to remove the poison so it can be turn into flour or whatever food products. Tapioca is another name for cassava by the way.

Brother Phillip, these precious precious kids are so full of joy. Real authentic joy that I personally have not seen in someone since my childhood. I was smiling and crying at the same time. If there was only a way that I could, I would adopt 6 of them. I have two spare bedrooms and would feel so blessed to have them. Children have always been able to soften my heart and seeing the light of Christ in their faces is something I wish American children could have. I pray for them so much that their clear love of Christ continues to be present with them for ever. Can you hook me up with information to reach out to them? I am hoping it would be okay, but I want to sponsor two-three teen girls. Being a mom of a girl, i understand what it costs to furnish girly girl items. It would be a pleasure to be able to do that for them. Plus with Christmas coming I'm sure they would love it too. God bless you brother Phillip. Oh...how many women work there too?
