NGL I would rather the deer not have velvet still on their antlers and for the season to not be 100+ degrees outside. Meant spoils quick and velvet antlers are not fun to drag a deer by, but maybe I should just stop hunting A zone.

We hunted black tail deer and Rosevelt elk (transplanted to Kodiak in the early 1900's from the Northwest). We did see brown bears but, were not hunting them. I’ve been hunting blacktails my entire life and the first buck was either a whitetail or blacktail, whitetail cross. The two other bucks were great blacktails my last blacktail I shot was a 3 by 3 in California. Thanks for the vids they’re always so exciting.
As a white-tailed deer therian im worried for my own safety😂 But fr, any therians out there, watch out when hunting season come's around, make sure to wear bright colors while doing qauds in the forest and wearing gear as they may see you as an animal.
