Starship Troopers: Director read chapter 1 of the book and said "This is great but I wanna make a Vietnam alagory like literally everyone else."
Yeah as an adaptation it's not great. But at the same time the politics of the book are... questionable at best and even if you agree with it it's still really fucking preachy. So I kinda prefer the movie.
I think there's a anime that follows the source material more accurately.
@@rhel373 I like the book more because it invented most of the ideas you see in military Sci-fi, including a big chunk of Warhammer 40k and Halo's ideas.

there is a starship troopers now, its a tactical game similar to starcraft but no "construction micro" requires alot of micro and management of units though atleast on higher difficulties

You'll find that tanks and other vehicles not meant for flight sailing through the air is a....common trend in RubixRaptor ARMA videos.

played with this mod before, the bug models are big enough they tend to have pathing issues in confined areas. Give them open ground and they speed up
Also, IgnisCorp (the players) have a tradition of murdering each-other at ENDEX
I still recommend Catachans Fight Endless Tyranid Swarms from Rubix, ESPECIALLY after this video.

This with rubix sounds like red vs blue comedy in starship troopers. Actually that sounds like a great webvideo series in general.
Hey so I already said this before, but I feel like I should say it again. If you guys liked Rubix, I would suggest watching Rimmy - Downunder Gaming. He does a bunch of ARMA 3 stuff too, specifically a load of Warhammer ops.
Its been done, tankers, flyers the little worker drobnes and about six different varients of warrior bugs all now included in that mod pack.
Starship Troopers mods is a common feature in many heavily modable games. I rember the was a guy working on a Starship troopers mod for Kerbal Space Program, of all games 🤣. Starship Troopers: Left 4 Dead ect.
Let it be known, the only Starship Troopers film that exists is the first. There are no sequals. None.
Earth Defense Force is an another game about shooting bugs, its pretty fun game.
To answer your question about additional bugs in the mod yes, even the new ones from the third movie as well all the bugs are in game.

THQ tried making a game for starship troopers for playsation 2 i played it a few times good game but there was no good story telling for the storyline a good game with a story needs a good story teller
