Also this next comment is gonna make me look like an a$%&ole but i just really wanna say, usually when a reviewer has an accent, i have a lot of troubles understanding it because i am not a native english speaker and it can take me effort to understand. But in your case, you have such a clear and nice pace that it doesn't bother AND you add subtitles so even if we don't hear well we can still get the info. I don't usually subscribe to review channels cause i only ever need them when figuring out what product to buy, but i'm making an exception cause you really need more subscribers and deserve it. Hi. I am looking to buy one of these Amazfit watches/bands. I am looking specifically at the "Event Reminder" function as I want to set up recurring reminders over the day (once per hour or so). After appropriate app setup (and connected to Bluetooth or wifi/alexa for that) can the Event Reminder show in full on the band/watch display even when I am not connected to the phone as I won't have the phone with me for most of the day, hence the reminder needs to be recorded within and shown on the watch, and have some level of independence from the phone once set up. Thanks in advance for your help.
Yes it can. As long as you sync once in a while. After do sync, open the Calendar feature on your Amazfit band to make sure, if you can see the event on the list, the band should remind you, even when it's disconnected. However, don't rely on it 100%, because sometimes I miss the vibration and sometimes I accidentally touch the screen that close the on going event reminder. But for most of the times, it works okay.
Brilliant review bro, so on tracks music I can see artist name epic!? Cant on mi band 5 also can u see author on Yt videos? Andd wait i forgot i have many Qs. Oh yes vibartion for msgs can be turned off i see but still see notification? Andd button for alexa work? Can u use timer and do something else or atleast see time too also i get vibration for every WHATSAPP msg say someone msgs me 3 times its very annoying i just want it once. 1. We can view music title and artist name 2. When playing normal YT videos, we can view the title and channel name (as artist name). But not on short videos / on YT shorts, it won't display anything. 3. We can completely turn off vibration. We can still view notification and there's a setting "screen on upon notification", it will work even when the vibration is off. 4. Alexa is not available on my country, I can't test it. 5. It shows REM, deep & light sleep, time awake, etc. If solely based on time when I get to bed, wake up or when I wake up in the middle of the night then back to sleep, the sleep data is match with the time. But for how accurate the REM data, etc, I don't know how accurate it is since I don't have any medical devices to compare.
Man I just bought this recently and the battery life is disappointing. I just had always on display for scheduled time (10hrs a day) and sleep monitoring turned on. Rest of the auto heart rate monitoring, workout detection,stress monitoring, everything turned off. I got about 4.5 days of battery life. Which is horrible considering they claim 12 days with everything turned on. Even my call notifications,app notifications were off as I just wanted to try out the sleep monitoring. The features seem fine but battery life disappointed me. I had bought a band instead of a smartwatch because bands give more battery backup but this doesn't seem like case here.
You should just try moving your arm up and down while sitting. I had a Amazfit Trex Pro and returned it because the watch would count steps just by moving my arm, while standing in one spot. So if you're working in one spot or doing dishes, you'll see that you magically did 1000 steps while standing still lol Terrible counter.
Unfortunately, Honor band 6 and 7 are not available in India, so I am left with Amazefit band only, but I am not happy with the reviews, literally confused
