I have that lens in version II R -- decent and pretty sharp at center. I should screw that on again, as it has been a while since I used it. I like Olympus colors more than the filtered edits, whatever they are. To my eye, most shots get muddied. Keep up the good work on the streets -- it is great fun and rewarding. I have the Lumix 14mm f2.5 on my little PEN PL-8. Fun little old camera. I use it now and then. Would be great with the Olympus 25mm, no doubt. The Lumix 12-32mm is a great fit for this camera. Take care, Loren
@@pixelkiez They really did an excellent design job on the PEN PL series of cameras. I recall how I loved the look of their film camera back in the 1970's, but never got one. Maybe the price? yeah this is a baller camera. There is a lens hood that opens automatically as you turn on the camera, so you get the full compact experience, with ibis and you can easily clean your sensor if needed.
Very beautiful fotos, great eye for reflections and symmetry . I have an fuji xt3 but was looking to invest to something that I can just throw in my bag and this camera seems nice. Found one for 250€ not sure if it is a bargain
Thank you. Without a lens I find it too expensive. Would start for the camera 130-180 euros. In addition, an inexpensive lens. But there are a lot of good little cameras out there in this price range. But the prices are also different in each country.
Da sieht man mal dass es nicht teuer sein muss 😍 und die scheint Bildserien auch als Funktion zu haben? Zumindest hört man es öfters auslösen 😄 sehr cool 👍🏼👍🏼
I think Mode M is the best way to set everything perfectly for each image. Since this is very complicated, I always use mode A. So you mainly determine what your image looks like with the aperture, the camera sets the rest itself. So I would prefer Mode A and play with the aperture.
the problem i found with my street camera (Olympus Pen E-PL7 & Kit Lens 14-42mm) is shooting in day light sometimes i shoot in blind, the screen in day light is useless
Experience. If I want everything to be sharp, I close the aperture and choose aperture 5.6. If I want something with a lot of bokeh in the background, I open the aperture and choose aperture 1.8 or so, depending on the lens. Here with the kit lens it's not that important, it can't take photos with such an open aperture.
Yes, with this lens you can't see the different aperture levels so clearly. Since 3.5 is already the minimum aperture. There's still some bokeh there. At 5.6, almost everything in the image is usually sharp @@patrickhin4301
In general there is nothing wrong with that. I find the M mode to be very pleasant on the camera. However, if you have large hands, I would choose a different camera.
@@lloydvillanueva7433 I am of the opinion that every system camera of the last 10 years takes better photos than smartphones. And when you attach an even better lens, the difference is clearly visible. I would only use smartphones for architectural photos, so the difference isn't that noticeable.
