Here is something I found out. There are a lot of fake Motorola charges that look like the real thing but are made in China, (of course). But I had flashing red batteries because I had not used them for over a year. I went to eBay and ordered genuine Motorola chargers and sat the battery in there it flashed red for 3 days, but I came back a day later and it was solid red. That afternoon it was flashing Green. After another 3 or 4 hours, it was steady green, I CONNECTED THE BATTERY TO THE RADIO AND WALA IT READ FULL BATTERY. After that, I used the radio for about an hour and it died quickly then when I put it back on the charger it went into reconditioning mode. I do not know how long it took but I left it overnight and the next morning it was solid green and I got normal life out of the battery. Now this has worked on two batteries and when I opened up the charger I had it was a brown motherboard with little on it and the new Impres Charger had a lot more going on, chips, copastors, etc. Side by side you could not tell them apart.
Thank you .. question please, my charger keeps in the reconditioning state for too long (around a day), and at the end nothing charged! Both the battery and the charger are new, so what would be the problem please?
Never mind I found it. If anyone needs this information: Flashing Orange Flashing orange indicates that the battery is recognized by the charger, but is waiting to charge. This means that either the battery voltage is too low or the battery temperature is not optimal for charging. When this condition is corrected, the battery will automatically begin charging.
I have 5 Motorola apx, 4000 2 button. My impress batteries do not Indicate battery level in the radios. This happened after a year. As a firefighter I do not have confidence in the radio's charge level when I go out. They also do not hold a very good charge when sitting. My department will be purchasing less expensive batteries as These are only 2 years old.
Too hot or cold. Let temp level out to room temp. Or there's a problem with the battery. Sometimes you can clean terminals on the charger and back of battery and unplug/replug the charger and it will work.
Mine is doing this on two batteries after long charges, I did read that there was a fault with a Ham Radio charger that did the same & there was a modification inside with a resistor change that fixed the problem as it was expecting a higher voltage when fully charged.

what if the led is blinking...but only red light....what is the meaning of that..

What if the battery charges on one charger and blinks red on another?
Charge it on the one that does
@@2KCamaroZ28SS duh 😂. Here’s the problem with that I only own one charger the other belongs to my co worker. I already switched out the radio.
"Full 'capacitance' "...? I believe you meant to say Full _capacity_ ...
thank you for your video
Thanks for watching...hope it helped!
What if it’s a solid red light
