Passion. Love. Brotherhood. Teamwork . Unity. Commitment. Dedication. Determination. Respect. Compassion, Loyalty, Selflessness ,Sacrifice, .these people were autobots in every proper sense of the word .
yamato is an amazing tribute to the indomitability of the human spirit in the face of a a hostile & unforgiving universe, stated with bravery & determination & heroic fighting spirit,. one that held together as much by the collective will of what remains of her surviving crew as by the rivets & welds of her tired hull, pure audacity given form her crew getting by on sheer grit , tenacity and fighting spirit making the impossible possible through sheer force of will and unrelenting heroism the yamato is more then bolts and bulkheads, she is a living thing , strengthened by everyone who served and died while serving her in battle . she is not just another ship , shes the mirror of our eternal soul
I haven't been so hyped for a SRW battleship in my life.
Also, any images of Yamato's base stats?
OP as fuck. Once you have this ship, you don't need any other unit.
It is on par with top-tier super robots.
I just realized that since attacks are from 'weakest' to 'strongest', that means Type-3 as HE Shell > Positron Beam.
Don't forget that the Type-3 rounds have fusion warheads.
zeroskillz90 wait so the solid ammo on the yamato is actually nuclear warhead shells? Holy fuck
you can't get any more high-explosive in there with those nukes in every shell.
theyre nukes lol
Wave Motion Shells
"We're desperate to survive too, after all!"
I find it a bit silly that every enemy, no matter how big or small have more hp than Yamato Battleship, and yet AA cannons can KO them anyway.
Isn't battleship units suppose to be massive support units o.0 this monster is packing so much power!
I sincerely doubt Banpresto could ever properly justify making the Yamato anything less than powerful when the bulk of the anime it comes from revolves around it unlike most other ships in SRW who just happen to have big guns.
MrMarket1987 wait this thing has its own anime!? I thought it was one of those original units made for the game.
It's had multiple animes, starting way back in '74. This version is from the 2012 show, Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
Heh... If you thought this is a Banpresto original, then maybe I should show you that the Yamato's discovery in a waterless sea isn't without a real world story that inspired the animes to begin with: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_battleship_Yamato
As someone else mentioned, the Yamato is pretty much a SRW Main Protagonist battleship.Which I like :)
Whoever translated the dialogue leaned towards the "literal" angle, I see--they even kept the Japanese quotation marks...
"Analyzer, confirm the enemy's current position!"
"Worry not. My computational ability is exceptional."
"Ready the Wave Motion Gun!"
"Roger! Adjusting bow angle for maximum coverage."
"Main circuits open, diverting power to Force Injector!"
"Confirmed. Releasing final safeties!"
"Reading steady TPP increase in the firing chamber."
"Optimal bow alignment reached--targeting scope online!"
"Deploy anti-flash countermeasures and brace for recoil!"
"Sighting aligned, video cross-gauge brightness at 20!"
"Maximum charge in three, two, one..."
"Wave Motion Gun--FIRE!"
"Firing!"
This is the game where you play as the End Boss. hahaha Damn, the Yamato is a cheat code.
Now we need 2202 in SRW because 2205 series is launching in October.
I hope they'll bring back Yamato on future SRW title
The Super Robot of ships.
USA: We have 490 warships
Japan: We have 1 Space warship
USA: Lol Pathetic!
Japan: *fires Wave Motion Gun*
Uchikata Hajime!!
We got yamato now we need arcadia to complete the awesome battle ship of 80's :P
Oh god I would pay for that
technically Yamato is the oldest Scifi genre Anime among scifi genre animes...she's the first scifi genre anime to be published and the rest comes along thats one reason why shes known as the "Mothership" of scifi genre animes...also Yamato is a 70s since the old Space Battleship Yamato anime cartoon was releash during that year
Yamato is also the main reason why anime in general made the just from Japan to the USA (and Europe). They ware actively craving for more Sci-Fi after Star Wars in the USA so they imported Yamato and Gundam to fill the demand.
So now that is in the next game, opinion?
@@nikoladedic6623 Playable Queen Emeraldas
i cry watching these because if the real battleship yamato wasn't attacked by air i bet it could sink a lot of ships, such a beautiful ship 😭😭😭
THE POWER OF THE JAPANESE EMPIRE
Now i would love to see Millenium sailing beside Yamato in future SRW titles
Imagine using the wave motion cannon, then later when you finally reach Iscandar and Starsha goes: You've broken your promise to me and weaponized the wave motion engine against my wishes. SURPRISE, we're not giving you the cosmo reverse system, you've made this trip here all for nothing, now kindly leave.
"Ding....." GAME OVER
This is why battle cruiser yamato gun takes so long to fire.
Imagine this and the Arcadia in the same game.
I really hope we get to see 2202 in SRW
I dunno why but this video bring smile.
Damm i love so much yamato
Might as well have all the bad guys have one hit point, and each weapon system do one hit point.
It’s a fcking Death Star slapped on a boat
Woot!!! too good
I like Harlock's Arcadia, but I have to say I prefer the Yamato overall.
Well the author of Harlock are the same with Space Battleship Yamato
Yeah, Arcadia is pretty strong in SRW T, but my God, its still pales in comparison with Yamato in SRW V
Hope captain YURI and his amazing crew will appear too :) I love those ship in his game. Thay are awesome just like yamato battle ship.
Oh, Kodai’s VA is the same as Jotaro’s BTW
I need this game
size does not matter say the guy who have a ship with the biggest gun fit to a battleship
compare to Andromeda class capability, Yamato gun is small.
@@cardiv5zuikaku944 And then, there's Super Andromeda class...
@@caav56 with 3 wave motion gun
Pls come back Yamato 2202-2205 to SRW 30
I wish in the near future for srw game to re add Roy focker
on macros gundam and the captain from macros battle 7
Max Elsoro i think there are enough gundam running around making money thanks
I assume this battleship is named after the actual yamato battleship from WWII
Duh
no this is the yamato from ww2 they rebuilt her from the remains of the ww2 dreadnought and redesign her for space combat
@@yumisuremaki2748 sounds like alot of effort to raise a sunken battleship from the ocean floor to upgrade for space combat
