Race Studio Analysis 3 - Tutorial 6 - Track Report Feature

In this sixth tutorial in the Race Studio Analysis 3 series, we examine track report feature. This functionality allows an overlay of the driven laps onto a mapping software (such as Google Maps) for further analysis. In addition, segment analysis is also enabled with the 'side items' in Race Studio Analysis 3. It is important that users have watched the fifth tutorial (segmenting track maps) to ensure they gain the maximum from this Track Report Feature.
Race Studio Analysis 3 went into full production in early 2022 and every user of Race Studio 3 now has the option to use the software. In this tutorial series we examine how to use the new software and prepare you for the transition from the older Race Studio Analysis 2 to this new and exciting 3rd generation.

Awesome! I applied this to my last track day at Florida International Rally and Motorsports track. There was not much difference in Lat/Lon acc for the laps, speed was about the same. I did notice that the best time for the corner also travelled the less distance. 15 ft saved in one lap, 25 feet saved in another. Am I correct in assuming that time gained (.2 sec in one case, .004 in another) was because of a better line?

Could well have been line. It may have allowed you to carry more speed into, through or out of the corner. So much to investigate but I like your thinking here.

Is there any way to "Play one lap vs another lap" in the map view like we could in race studio 2?

Unforutunately, this feature isn't in RS3A, however, if you are using a SmartyCam, you can follow the data with video for the whole lap. Thanks!

iv customised my sectors but somehow cant see the overall lap times when in trck veiw i can only see the times for that sector im looking at, is there a way to show overall lap time too?
