- Nikolas Cruz’s brother is sharing disturbing stories about the alleged Parkland school shooter. Zachary Cruz, 18, has moved from Florida to Virginia after a few run-ins with the law after the shooting, leading him to believe he became a marked man in the Sunshine State. With the help of Nexus, a legal services charity, he is moving to Virginia to begin a new life. He showed a disturbing selfie of Nikolas to Inside Edition which had a gun pointed at his head. #InsideEdition

I agree with you, but would like to point out that Zachary was the biological half brother of Nikolas who was adopted by the Cruz family when they both were infants.
On a longer video about this, the guy from Nexus said that they think a judge in Broward County was to blame. I don't know how true that is, or if any police were at all involved.

As someone who works in the funeral industry and has dealt with this type of situation, it’s actually shameful that they’re painting his brother as a potential school shooter with no cause. It’s not okay so threaten, harass, or blame someone for the actions of others. They’re going through their own hell living with the horrific actions their loved ones have done.

WELL, YEAH. he realized in that moment the person who he considered his brother now no longer exists, and went on a reign of terror taking out dozens more... imagine (if you have a brother(or sister))going to class or work one day and the next time you see your sibling is in the situation(in the interrogation room) where he was put in. ANYONE would react exactly how he did. he was simultaneously so flabbergasted at the situation while also realizing both of their lives will never be the same.

People go to prison immediately upon arrest all the time. Happens mostly in counties that don't have many, or very large city/town jails. No room at the town jail so they have to take you all the way down to the state penn.
But again, given that he is a particularly violent offender they most likely had him held at an actual prison, most likely in some sort of solitary or something.
They don't put people like him into little jails. They get transferred immediately.

Leave this young man alone, as if he doesn't have enough emotional trauma. His brothers actions had nothing to do with him and if anything the community should rally together with him. Not against him.
I watched the interrogation/interview of Nikolas last night & was really impressed by Zach & his heartfelt wisdom & compassion (detective let him in the rm to speak & allow hugs). For a teenager (or even early 20's) to have that much maturity & strength, to humbly apologize for past mistakes & encourage NC telling him he loved him no matter what... Clearly tough situation but gave NC a bit of the acknowledgement & validation he lacked so badly in life. Hurts my heart that he had to move away, making it difficult for in-person visits. NC def deserves consequences but there might be an ounce of hope for rehab w/ his brother's support. Prison is tough but might be the best place for structure, healthy meals & exercise, possible therapy & life skills training... in addition to preventing further harm to society. Wishing the best for Zach & healing for the victims' families.💔🙏💖

As for what their mother looks like, I've never seen a photo, but Nikolas alleges she's Jewish, but that's no indication of what she actually looks like; some people presume that means she's Caucasian, but since Judaism is a worldwide religion, not a race/nationality, she could be anything.
They're not even brothers, this isn't even a genetic issue. Even if they were biological siblings there's no excuse to punish him for someone else's actions.
It doesn't change anything but they were indeed biological brothers, the adoptive parents adopted from the same mom. Thats why poor boy seems to feel very tied to nik, since he's his only known blood relative :( hope he's doing good now.

My brother killed someone and got tried but to this day i still live in seclusion because of his actions. How easy for this guy to move away..if only i could have that option, i would have had a better adult life. Although i started a family only a few years ago, it still haunts me that my brother took another life.

Arvind Vallabha I’m not saying he should or shouldn’t have empathy for his brother. But when you have a family member with severe mental illness who you’ve seen them do harm to themselves and then go out and harm others, it’s so very hard to not feel bad or sorry for them because at the end of the day they have mental health issues. No one can perform such atrocities and be in such a right mind.
