I don't know if it's a new thing? But personally I don't even bother playing anymore unless I'm in an optimized group because not only do people zerg, but they are too inexperienced to even be aware that they are outnumbering us with both siege and players. Reds are particularly terrible at this, many play tanky healbots who siege while others are running with a zerg AND a ballgroup and think they are OP, when in fact they are killing the game by hard gating and score gapping as much as they can. You also get this from yellows with big egos and attitudes who just have no clue, but reds are just really bad this campaign.
The salt is just strong with some people, they take it too serious an don't take it for what it is... A game... But people hate getting bombed/ganked/zerged bla bla bla, then cry in pms etc, bizzare really.
