Thank you Joel and mom for helping with our Sammy,....we appreciate this stable so much for all yur help, n the times u go out of yur way for our boy..❤
I always get excited when manure starts to get spread cause I know spring has arrived. So glad Sampson is doing so well. It's hard taking care of animals when they are sick cause they don't understand.
It is definitely incredible....for sure. Sampson is getting such good treatment from all of you. HINT: Take a photo of the board with the med lists (especially the one in his stall). From my own experience, I can say that it can get erased in a split second and it's good to have a copy of it right at your fingertips.
What an incredibly sweet horse Samson is. Modern medicine is amazing for horses as well as people. Praying that this treatment works for Samson. Thanks for showing us and explaining things.
Your boarders are very lucky to have such caring people like you and your mom to help administer these meds. I've been in that situation with my horse (ulcer treatment) and was so appreciative of my barn manager who helped get meds to my horse at times that were not easy for me to be there. I am praying for a good outcome for Sampson.
Glad you and your mom our taking good care of Samson . I love the way you all take care of the horses and two donkeys . My heart ❤goes out to you all . Thank you again for Samson care.
All of these horses (and their owners!) hit the goldmine when they were entrusted with your care! Your compassion and understanding of each of their individual needs is so lovely to watch! It's always amazing to see the horses head into their stalls with no direction (unless they are new)...they are such majestic and brilliant creatures! And I hope for a speedy recovery for the beautiful Sampson! He's a stunner of a horse...I wish him good health from here on out!
Sampson such a brave gentle boy lovely to see all the care and love he's getting ❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you to Sampson s owner for allowing us to see his treatment and health updates Joel the tractor attachments are amazing 👏👏👏👏 Happy New Year to you all 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x Viewing this video like and subscribe!!!!!
oh poor Sampson, he is sooo patient and good tempered yet he must be going through such a lot. It would be hard enough for a human but I think always worse for an animal where they cannot fully understand what is going on. TG he is at your stables with all the good care he needs.
Samson is in good hands! I know he will make a full recovery. Mom D nice to see you as always. Meagan nice to see you again. Thank you for sharing your crazy world of horses, barns, and cookies. See you in the next one.
4 degrees thinks me, that sounds ok. Then realised you use Fahrenheit so it a but nippy with you. It never gets that cold here in England. Sampson seems to be doing so well.
I'm praying for Sampson. Such a fine horse, so gentle. It's so sad to see him suffering. I'm so glad you guys are there taking such good care of him. Medicine is important, but love is more important. ❤ It's evident the love and care that you give all the horses, and the donkeys too
To Joel and the stable life That WOS SO SO VERY much sad 😓 about Samsung having cancer I hope he has a speedy recovery and go back out in the paddocks with the rest of the horses.
Wishing Sampson the best. Did you see the other big guys do a little stop and look, how sweet. You should really wear disposable gloves for that (and the cookie making & beard coverings & hairnets-for selling things). Fine for your own😂
Hi. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing. Aww poor Samson, hope he does well. So since I'm full of dumb questions, here's another one. Why do you not put straw or sawdust (expensive?) Down after cleaning the manure areas down by the hay feeder areas? Maybe it'd be more of a mess, so just leave it as it is?? Love to see everyone helping with baking..Thanks for all you and the family does. Happy New Year 🎆
I am amazed at how well Sampson tolerates the needle in is eye. He could easily rub against the wall or the door frame to attempt to remove it but doesn't seem to attempt it. 🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🐐🐐🏇🏇🏇 🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇
Sampson is a beautiful horse. As an old chemo nurse, I can’t help but ask- are you flushing his line after injecting his medicine to clear the line of medicine so he gets the entire dose?
You do know that the doctor will order a flush if they want it done. You must not under stand ocular pressure. You do not want to increase it . can not only cause pain but blindness.
No added cost because our barn is awesome and they love Sammy. And I did as many meds times as I could when I was off work. But super thankful for my barn family
Darn about the chemo. Chemo is never good. Ivermectin is much much better. But love you guys!! Ivermectin is just not a dewormer. But I know you gotta do what the owner wants xo
Replace “stitch” with “suture”… he didn’t go to a seamstress. Also, what’s the mechanism for administering the medicine? Are you “flushing” the medicine after the injection with a saline solution or other? You’re using a syringe to inject into the line, but are you accounting for the length of the line? For example, if you’re giving 3cc’s of a medicine and the line takes 10cc’s to get to his eye.. that medicine won’t reach him as it would sit in the dead space. Did you account for this? Also, shave your beard.
Sending hugs to Sampson and his Owner...Hugs also for the Stable Life crew... appreciate all you do. Thanks for sharing.❤
So glad Sampson is doing well with his meds. Such a beautiful boy accepting the treatments to help him have a long, happy, healthy life.
Thank you Joel and mom for helping with our Sammy,....we appreciate this stable so much for all yur help, n the times u go out of yur way for our boy..❤
He is such a beautiful boy Ma. Hopefully we soon see him out in the pasture with his buddies.

So glad Sampson is doing better.
Hugs to Sampson during his recovery, and Hi to Tucker!

To Joel and the stable life That WOS SO SO VERY much sad 😓 about Samsung having cancer I hope he has a speedy recovery and go back out in the paddocks with the rest of the horses.
My heart goes out to Sampson and all of you. I am sure that hasn't been comfortable for any of you.
Good day.
Tomato, basil,chicken spaghetti..sounds yum
When are you getting back to the hay barn? That is what I come for.
The horses are beautiful and I am impressed how they know which stall to go to❤❤❤
Great video Joel 👍👍 really enjoyed watching
My heart hurts or Sampson. Prayers for Sampson. Sure wish there was an easier way to treat that.
That's like lava, only its manure...😮
When are you going to do a video on the Barn build?
I got a squamous cell carcinoma on my lip and wasnt that fun having it cut out - NOT. So I can imaginge how Sampson feels.
🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Hope Samsung will be well soon 🙏
Hello from Virginia. Cold weather coming this weekend ❄️
😊
Happy New Year x
❤️🙏🏻🙂
Happy New Year
What does your dad do for work? He was great building your hay barn
That's already been discussed. You should watch past videos. Lots of info
🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🐐🐐🏇🏇🏇 🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇
WhT is the name of unusual stocking cap your wearing?
What is unusual about it? You have never heard of snap on tools? Use Google to learn
Wishing Sampson the best. Did you see the other big guys do a little stop and look, how sweet. You should really wear disposable gloves for that (and the cookie making & beard coverings & hairnets-for selling things). Fine for your own😂
Do the horse's coats ever get cleaned?
Guess you must be new here. You can learn a great deal from watching the past videos

When are you going to do a video on the Barn bill?
Hey Joel would Megan share that recipe. Tom,Bas,chicken spaghetti? 😊
I'd be interested and seeing some retroactive farmer help on any of the channels. Like when some go help at Petey's place?
Sampson is a beautiful horse. As an old chemo nurse, I can’t help but ask- are you flushing his line after injecting his medicine to clear the line of medicine so he gets the entire dose?
You do know that the doctor will order a flush if they want it done. You must not under stand ocular pressure. You do not want to increase it . can not only cause pain but blindness.
Right. No extra flush. The meds are given in the same order and prime the line so he actually gets the med at the end of the catheter
Will owner do all midnight doses? Also, for doing these meds is this an added cost to the boarding fees?
No added cost because our barn is awesome and they love Sammy. And I did as many meds times as I could when I was off work. But super thankful for my barn family
Darn about the chemo. Chemo is never good. Ivermectin is much much better. But love you guys!! Ivermectin is just not a dewormer. But I know you gotta do what the owner wants xo
Why is the picture board on Sampson's stall door upside down?
Does Chemo make them sick like it does to some people? Or have you noticed him getting sick from it?
Not chemo. He starts that in another 2 to 3 weeks. He is getting antibiotics and serum mixed with his blood to aid in healing
But what did Grammy make for lunch?
Joel, you and the veggie boys might want to clean the outside of some equipment and get all the mud and poop off the vehicles.
You can offer your services.
Joel that is Simpsons right eye not is left eye his eye catheter treatment has been around for along time
Yikes, your tractor will need a bath after all that 💩💩💩💩
Please don't stand behind the horses! My sister-in-law was killed by a kick from her own horse...
Replace “stitch” with “suture”… he didn’t go to a seamstress.

Also, shave your beard.
They are follow-up by the vets orders. Why are you questioning . really not you business.
No flush. Each med is given in the same order every time. The meds prime the line and Sam actually receives the med in the catheter closest to his eye
