This was my Grandpas' favorite song, and I used to listen to Gaither with my Nana. They're gone now, but this brings back so many good memories.
It was JFKs Favorite song too My dad was honor guard for JFKs Funeral he was In the United states Navy

This militarization if American pulpits turn off a LOT of people. Had I been grown up in this country and if haven’t had deep biblical roots, it’d be very difficult for me to get to or stay in church.

You are christian because you are a follower of Christ. I am 64 and have served the Lord or 55 years. My grandchildern are being raised to know the Lord but they must make that choice on their own. They get no points from Christian parents grandparents and great grandparents.

Hong Kong people all went on streets because they had suffered 22years of the lawlessly, ruthlessly, ignorant ruling by Chinese communist, and they can no longer suffer! I stayed in China for 20 years ( 95-14) as a commom people to pay Christ's love for Chinese, after all I couldn't suffer any more and God helped me left!

I believe the song is about fighting evil powers unseen (satan) not a real physical war.
The bible actually tells you the truth about it. Putting Armor On generally gives you the evidence. Read Ephesians 6: 10-12. It's like when Abraham in Genesis seen God in the flesh. How do we know this fact. He feeds them. Have you ever seen a ghost get fed ? We are told to study the bible, not just read verses. It's how Christians actually learns. It's also why we are told not to depend upon our own thoughts. The answers are in the bible. Another piece of evidence is seen in Revelation where it says anyone who believes that Jesus did not appear in the flesh is of the spirit ant-christ.

Yes there's a true and living God that you can't see but we can hear him. He is very swift when he speaks to me it's a right away or else I will forget it right away.. Sometimes even to get the message in my words can be challenging.. I know what l want to say but to have it for others to understand it. It can take some time to do it.

In the package she sent her a picture and little Bible. We were not belivers but we were grateful for her present.
