I love the humility that Eric displays and how appreciative he is about where he is and how in the moment he is too...just so refreshing and inspiring. Thanks, Eric for everything!
You prolly dont care but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Tanner Wayne i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Eric Dressen was jaw-dropping at one of the first demos I ever went to. 10 years later I went to LA: he let my mates and I sleep on his floor for a couple of days and we went for a skate ( never had so much trouble keeping up with someone). Now, a quarter of a century on, he's still ripping. Nothing but love and respect for this man... he's the embodiment of what skateboarding is about.
Dressen made my morning! Turning 44 in a week . Thanks 🙏🏽 for the footy. Will continue to support Santa Cruz skates(currently have the Mario vx) and am planning to buy another 🤙🏾Shakas from Hawaii boys !
He is truly humble down-to-earth genuinely good soul, sober, hard-working and remembers where he came from. In the late 1980s after one of the Savannah Slamma contests here in Georgia he came to Atlanta and stayed with some folks we knew and went skating with us a couple days we took him to spots around Atlanta and to a mini ramp where he fell and his board bounced up and hit him in the eyebrow and split his noggin he went home with a souvenir from Georgia and had a great attitude about the whole experience. 100% Skateboarder For Life!
He really is a legend. Eric you're the best, since the days of Dog Town and Santa Cruz, I've been a fan and used to cut your ads and tape them up on the wall.
Brought a tear to my eye. Thought back to when I saw that "Who's Hot!", picture in Skateboarder, when I think he was 10 years old! I think it was the first Skateboarder Magazine I ever bought! Solid grinds. And backside nose grabs reminiscent of Jay- Boy! Yes style counts! But nothing matters more than your health, to love and to be loved. You would just be a legend if you weren't so real . In this video, half a world away, and strangers are still stoked on you! Powerful Spirit in light words! Peace and Grinds!
I'm 47 from Chile. Dressen was a strong influence on us. I've pictures of a pool session -- we did a little graffiti with "Dressen #1" on it. I wonder if he knows the influence he had on skaters from all over the world....
god id love to get my dressen deck signed by dressen so much - even though i know i could never let myself skate it again bcz if the signature got scraped away id cry. hes definitely one of the coolest skaters
“Someone doesn’t quit skateboarding because they get old they get old because they quit skateboarding.“ Eric Dressen, Dogtown🇺🇸⚡️🗽 local since late 1970s
I remember having it Eric dressing Santa Cruz everslick it was just red black and white instead Santa Cruz in a straight line from the nose to the tail it was a fucking boat
The fact that he still has a board and the respect of all his peers and top level pros cheering his front side slashes should tell you everything you need to know, dork
@@chrissharron4739 It's called respect son. You're the saddest for not knowing skating history, he's the real deal, go watch his Speedfreaks video part and see what he was pulling off back in 1989 when you weren't even born yet. His pro model will sell even when he's 90.
This is for the real bowl riders who appreciate surf stylin, go watch other type of skating if it's not your thing, simple. For me this is the real deal, and i find boring watching kids flipping in and out of everything, it's all a matter of personal taste, got it?

Dressen is the epitome of a legend. He's one of the original all terrain skaters.
Dressen just seems like a genuinely nice guy

Dressen’s slams are more stylish than most people’s skating!

Saw Dressen when he was on tour 89_90 He was ripping 12ft wall rides over the exit door. Inspired me so much.

Una jodida y bendita influencia desde que empezé a montar. Gracias Eric!
Can we agree people, is he not one of the best EVER!? I hope I get to meet this legend before I expire.
So humble. Recently cop his 1st pro deck & need a poster of him grinding P-Stone's brim!!!
My friend used to somehow do a "roll back" as he came down the Concrete Vert. It made a similar noise.
Dressen has the chillest vibes 🤙

Fucking idol.
He sure has that front 5-0 down....lmao
Watch Speedfreaks and try to reproduce all tricks he does on the ramp
I want to be like you
Jump the bricks
A blown knee prevents him from ripping , period .
It took decades but I finally skate better than Dressen.

Sure, but with the same amount of speed n style?
I know he’s old or whatever but how does he still have a pro model for doing 2inch five 0carves wtf t hawk is the same age and actually does tricks
I wish I could just turn around and have everyone cheering 4 me and yeah I’m a hater I guess but wtf. He’s not a pro
Saddest thing I’ve ever seen
you're a straight up moron....
The fact that he still has a board and the respect of all his peers and top level pros cheering his front side slashes should tell you everything you need to know, dork
