To me, it's one thing when they ship it, but understand that it's a crack ship. They write their fan fiction, make their videos and enjoy their dynamic, but they pay attention to the narrative and understand that's WA's love story. I get this because I have 1 or 2 of those kinds of ships myself. But when they read into every little thing in order to support SB being endgame and completely ignore the narrative and try to present their head canons as fact. This is what baffles me. It takes a lot of imagination and determination to turn two people glancing at each other into a sign that they're secretly in love with each other.

I'm just seeing a friendship, and sometimes it's more like a sibling dynamic, with Cait being the overbearing, overcautious older sister and Barry being the careless, fun-loving younger brother. But I just saw a video of 160 reasons to ship Barry and Cait, and I was wondering if we all watched the same show. It was ridiculous, to say the least !

…OP isn’t saying that? They’re saying he hurt Iris by hurting EDDIE (aka indirectly and in a way that showed his jealousy of Eddie/feelings for Iris), meanwhile he hurt Caitlin directly. OP specified HOW he hurt them for context, not to say he hurt Caitlin less severely-if anything, he arguably hurt her MORE since it was more direct…which was the point being made here
