Theres no tax on prize money in Australia. Not in lottery, not in horse racing, not in gambling, so why would they tax a fighters prize money? Its still prize money not a wage. Yes our government robs us on our hard earned. Im taxed 45%. Dam shame.
That ridiculous, something needs to change…
Holy shit that is daylight robbery right there!
Mate your a legend for saying this
Cheers 🙏🏻
Fighters fight for everything
I was thinking about FIFO welding in Australia but if imma be taxed 50%, might just stay in Europe

I’m not sure why the fighters get taxed 50% But I live and work in Australia I only get taxed 20%
Only the top threshold is 47%, I think 200k aud and over
Our Australian government loves to waste money so it needs high taxes
You lose 50% to tax but u also have to pay your team pay your gym pay for medical in certain cases. Being a fighter is already expensive
Illia doesn't fight for money he is a multi millionaire and it's very easy he fights volk in Australia for legacy 💯
