The Marc Jacobs Marvelous Mousse Transformative Oil-Free Foundation. It's a creamy, full coverage foundation that I've had my eyes on for the longest time, but afraid to try because it's $55 and I'm oily skin. Anyways, keep your videos coming! I did a marathon on most of your videos when I first found your channel, and I've been watching every single video afterwards. You're too adorable and you do great reviews! :)
For those who say this foundation separates after X amount of hours, I highly recommend 1.) finding a good primer (I use bare minerals prime time or elf poreless face depending on which one I find first) 2.) using a finishing powder 3.) using a good setting spray (urban decay de-slick works wonders on oily skin) This is my opinion tho.. I personally love it but I can understand why others would not.
noitsreallyemily definitely! if you didn't like it I would suggest trying it again with a good mattifying primer and setting spray (I don't use a setting powder) , it made a huge difference for me and my skin is super oily
noitsreallyemily I have sweated in 100 degree weather and I’m super oily, and it still took 4 hours of sweating until it started to break up (but only on my t zone!) it took two seconds to touch up and the next morning when I woke up this foundation still looked flawless!!! And I even fell asleep with it on!! I was sweating so much it felt like my eyes were sweating no lie! This foundation is tricky to apply though so if you do buy it and hate it then your not applying it right! A little goes a ling way, I always blend from my ears into my t zone and be careful I don’t use primer I only use moisturizer and eye cream (in my t zone) bc this foundation I feel like is not compatible with a lot of primers!! But I’m not a primer person anyways!!! And if I do ever use primer I don’t apply it in my t zone! I use a damp beauty blender for full coverage and tarte shape tape and I feel like a beauty queen everyday! This is a clay foundation so it does have a touch of grayish hues, so I use a mineral foundation to set instead of powder (and translucent where my concealer is) and that does the trick!!! I will never buy another foundation!! I quit using my lamer and Tom Ford bc I love it so much!!! My go to foundations are tarte rainforest, this is my number 1, and hourglass (I use that more so in the winter time)! I set this with rose water again this foundation is really used best if left alone without primer or fancy setting sprays
I just got the tarte foundcealer and I hated it. It looked like fake tan on my face, and it had nothing to do with the wrong shade. It was shimmery and oily looking 😬 I was reading about the Amazonian clay so I went into my local ulta store this morning and returned the other & asked about this one. It just happened to be on a display rack for sale today and so I got 2 for 40$ and excited to try this
I hated this foundation when I bought it, it seperated so badly.. This is in my top 5 foundations now, I love this I just have to really moisturize good and there will be no seperation. I use a matte primer only on my nose and I use just a reg. drug store primer in the other areas. I love this foundation
I use the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Face Base or just a little Coconut Oil for my moisturizer, my primer I use the cover fx on my nose (thats where I am oily) and the rest of my face I use either Elf primer or Rimmel and I sometimes add NYX pore filler on my cheeks if I am really not wanting my pores to show. I first bought this it was in the winter time and Chicago winters are the worse so I just really have to make sure I am moisturized, I don't know how it will act in the Summer but this is really one of my favorites now I reach for it alot more than everything I have except for my Lancome Tient Idole (thats my favorite). Hope this helps and I talk to much sooo sorry LOL

This foundation has changed my life especially since I’m in the medical school(student). I needed something professional looking I waned people to not see my makeup and his has changed my life!!! T makes me look so natural and flawless I will even wear this on my wedding day! Tarte is my favorite brand now the only reason why I gravitate towards the hourglass is bc it has that super glam finish, whereas this is my professional beauty routine lol this makes me look natural whereas the hourglass makes me look like I have a face filter on (it’s super obvious that I’m wearing makeup bc nobody’s face is that perfect) and I use the rainforest sometimes for a little help under the Amazonian clay or sometimes when I just want a super light coverage foundation!
I've used this for about three years. I have massive pores and a lot of acne scarring from being an ocd picker. I want to try the Estee Lauder foundation, but until I'm able to, Tarte has been the best for my oily skin. Forgive me for sounding gross, but I'm so oily you could fry chicken on my face.....I love this entire line
I’ve got dry skin, and I LOVE this foundation. It’s been one of my holy grails for at least a year now. If I’m looking for lighter coverage, which I usually am, I just mix it with a little primer or a serum and it’s still gorgeous. I’m light beige, with fair skin and pink to neutral undertones After watching TONS of your foundation reviews, THIS is the one I think looks THE most STUNNING on you. i have a love hate relationship with this foundation. i have oily skin and it looks beautiful when first applied but after a few hours my oil comes to join the party. the transfer is horrible it comes off on everything
Zenobia McRae Same! I have had it for about a year and only have used it like 5 times. It is one that looks good for a short day, but don't try to wear it for a long period of time.
I tried the porefessional, the elf matte balm and the baby skin primer, those will not work well with it. I am gonna get a deluxe sample of the hourglass one Nikkia uses to see if it will work with my skin. I LOVE this foundation, I am older though and it did settle in my lines. I've not had a lot of oil break thru with it aside from the usual break up beside my nostrils but ALL foundation does that for me no matter what.
Zenobia McRae i use the same primer with it and it doesn't stay put. I'm oily within 4 hours. I honestly think that the foundation doesn t work good with that primer.
I got a sample of this in Medium Neutral from Sephora and wore it for about 10 hrs yesterday. I could not get myself to remove it. My skin is generally so oily and I have freckles by my t-zone, and this foundation make my skin look so smooth and flawless. It didn't even clog my giant pores, unlike other foundations I've used. 11/10
Ahhh, I am SO happy that I requested this and that you enjoyed it! I had a feeling you would. I love this foundation, though sometimes it can cake up on me if I apply too much so I really have to be careful. But it really does make my skin look super smooth!

I had the same experience as you. I bought it a couple years ago and hated it. Then just recently a friend of mine raved about it. I decided to give it another shot. It is now a holy grail for me. I returned the first one I bought so I thought maybe the formula changed but based on your experience (using the same one you had) it hasn't. I love it!!

This is one of the few foundations I've tried that I didn't have to touch up throughout the day. Even at the end of a long work day my t-zone stayed matte. Literally just ordered this a few days ago because it was on sale for $25, so I tried out my Sephora sample to test it out and bought it on a whim. Usually stick with cheap bb creams but I want a really good foundation that will last awhile. Can't wait for it to arrive!!
Love this foundation, I wore it yesterday from 10am to 3am running errands cleaning my house and to the bar, I didn't a primer since I have acne prone and combo skin and it did not move an inch. even on my nose, which most foundations always break apart on, it stayed flawless. when I went to take it off my makeup still looked perfect I was amazed I'm so glad you liked this foundation!

Love this foundation so much. Used the have oliy acne skin now I have normal sometimes dry skin after finding a good acne treatment system. This foundation works well for both skin types. I set the face with little amount of powder (tarte’s as well) and urban decay all-nighter setting spray and it lasts forever. I’ve worn it in the summer while in the desert and at work in a hot kitchen, cooking in front of a stove, running around, lifting, and carrying stuff. It’s great. Also the flower beauty setting sprays are amazing to make make up last, ive tried both matte and hydrating ones and both lock in the makeup and are half the price of urban decay spray.

Chelsea Rae it is reallyyy awesome! I use it as a BB cream...very natural looking and wears really well when pared with the right primer and setting power
This foundation looked amazing on you. I did not have the same luck with it. It always got super oily on me and do not try to build it up. It gets super cakey super quickly when you build it up!!
I wanted this foundation to work SO badly for me. SO badly. But it did not. After like an hour, I was oily and it separated on my skin so badly. I returned it to Ulta and got a different foundation from Tarte that worked fantastic for me. I'm jealous that it worked so well for her.
I had horrible separation using this foundation when I tried it. My t-zone and my chin was all separated after just a few hours. I returned it. I personally don't think it is good for oily skin. I don't know what she did differently to make it work for her oily skin. I guess we are all different though.
I had the same problem after using it and loving it, something changed and it would separate so very badly. Especially on the nose, it looked so bad one day and when I came home and saw how terrible my nose looked, I was so embarrassed I went around like that all day.

I have this foundation. I doesn't break me out, that's the good thing. However, it transfers to anythinf that touches your skin. She did not include in this video if it comes off or not.
I love this foundation!! I've gone through 4 tubes. A little goes a long way. It's full coverage is amazing for my acne prone skin. It's better to apply with a brush than a beauty blender. I've had no problem with separation. And I love the the color shade options.
I have that foundation in my drawer sitting as well... I have tried it before and honestly, like you, don't remember how it wore either or why the foundation didn't stand out for me... now I have to pull it back out and try it again. I thought I loved this foundation until I wore it in the South here in America. The heat and humidity did horrible things to this foundation. In the winter, this works great for me, but in the summer it's got to be good old Estee Lauder Double Wear. I'm glad it worked for you though. It was stunning on you.
Guys hourglass immaculate foundation is really good!!! I had a really oily t zone and normal to dry everywhere else and it worked and stayed for soo long in all cold and hot weather! I used it with the hourglass primer and it was amazing!
I already know how this foundation does on my oily skin (it's great, it just oxidizes a shade or two on me, sadly), but I would still watch because I'd watch anything Nikkia posts 😂❤️
I just tried it today and LOVED it!! I used the Rimmel setting powder, UD oily setting spray, and skindinavia setting spray with, and it was amazing!!! It was 115 outside today so I was sweaty. I even took a nap and woke up and my makeup still looked awesome!!!
i have two samples of this foundation one for when im tanned and one for when im not and im in love with it 😍 i wear it on the nights i go out and want a fuller coverage and it lasts all night i will definitely be purchasing the full size 💜
I have been using this foundation for years- since I was 22 years old. I used to rock and roll, hangout with my friends and attend events using this foundation. I would show up looking like shit in rainy weather and just had my hair and makeup done and I got so many compliments that I looked like a doll, gorgeous and had a beautiful face while all those girls had layers of makeup on and spent hours getting ready. I did effortless beauty. People who know me know it's all hair and makeup. I would take so many selfish and videos of myself, so this is one of my favorite foundation but it's not for oily skin, so you do have to touch up on the makeup or blot out the oils. I do have pictures of all my hundreds of selfies I used to take. Lol😊When I moved to Seattle Washington, I was also using this foundation so my colleagues know how I look like without makeup on and they seen me doing my hair and makeup at work many times, so they know I have a beautiful and gorgeous face when I get ready. I just don't try. 😊 its my favorite foundation, but I don't use makeup products for oily skin. I would just put foundation on and that's it. No primer or anything so those people were so jealous. Lol😊😂And I smelled really good! Lol😊
Hated this foundation,it looked nice when first applied but then it just melted off my face. I find that mousse-y foundations don't stay on my face very well.

this is my holy grail foundation ever bcoz its really full coverage n i love the mousse texture that it has bcoz its so easy to blend. its more satisfying when i applied the urban decay loose finishing powder on top of it.
I LOVE this foundation!!!! So glad you finally included it for us oily skinned bishes hahah I'm oily AF and this is the first foundation I actually like! I've gone through 3 bottles of it now :) If you pair it with their translucent powder you can go about 7 hours before looking oily (even then, a quick swipe of translucent powder makes your face look fresh again).

I have dry combo skin and I love this foundation! I would recommend only using a little bit, a good primer and a setting spray. It stays on me all day and my t zone doesn't get oily at all. (Which it does really bad with other foundations) but as all foundations go. It depends on your preference and your skin type. I would still say it's worth a try.
This is the only foundation I have used for the last 4 mo. I have dry skin. I love this foundation. Sometimes I put in a drop of vitamin E oil. I use Benefit porefessional primer and powder to set. It never separates or settles into lines. also does not oxidize!
finally someone says this foundation is medium coverage. if only i tried this as sample before buying the tube. bought this cos i thought it was really full coverage. wasnt really looking forward layering this foundation even it does look natural after layering for full coverage. using this foundation requires work, to prevent cracking and transfers, try mixing with a drop of face oil. it worked wonders for me. i hope it works for uols too! p/s, i have textured and combo skin . i used the maracuja oil. xx
I love this foundation! It works fine with my combination skin. It's really light weight and build able and works best with a primer and a powder on top for me
I got this foundation over a year ago, used it a few times and it kinda got lost in the foundation drawer, I just came back to it and I've used it all week. Another good one I came back to was Marc Jacobs genius gel.. now I love them lol
The funny thing is, I have had this for about 6 months and didn't really care for it when I first bought it. I tried it again yesterday and ABSOLUTELY loved it! My oily skin looked amazing and natural...not to mention that it actually lasted for most of the day. It is definitely my new favorite.

I just bought this foundation and i am OBSESSED i have no transfer from it and it makes my skin matte from 5am to 11pm! I used to use the maybelline fit me foundation but I only got around 4 hours with it and then I would need touching up.

This is my holy grail foundation. I am oily as they come. For those of you who are oily and didn't have luck with this, try it with the tarte clean slate pore less primer. :) perhaps that will work better!!
I use this foundation on the daily I actually like it a lot. I have fairly oily skin and I still bake my face with it yes I can say the oil can come through not a lot I’d recommend keeping a translucent powder on hand in case. Overall I love it.
I use Tarte! A little goes a long, long way! I put Avon's Vit. C Serum on first then my Clinique oil free moisturizer followed by Avon's primer then Tarte foundation and so forth.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation (combination/oily skin.) It is definitely not full coverage, but it does give you a pretty, airbrushed effect. It wears better for me in the winter when my skin isn't quite so oily, otherwise it tends to separate a bit. Coverage is buildable, but it takes a lot of effort to get a fuller coverage, but then you are fighting against "cake face." I think it is best suited for those who have normal skin and want a medium coverage.

Tarte is my favorite brand now the only reason why I gravitate towards the hourglass is bc it has that super glam finish, whereas this is my professional beauty routine lol this makes me look natural whereas the hourglass makes me look like I have a face filter on (it’s super obvious that I’m wearing makeup bc nobody’s face is that perfect) and I use the rainforest sometimes for a little help under the Amazonian clay or sometimes when I just want a super light coverage foundation!
I've used this for about three years. I have massive pores and a lot of acne scarring from being an ocd picker. I want to try the Estee Lauder foundation, but until I'm able to, Tarte has been the best for my oily skin. Forgive me for sounding gross, but I'm so oily you could fry chicken on my face.....I love this entire line
I’ve got dry skin, and I LOVE this foundation. It’s been one of my holy grails for at least a year now. If I’m looking for lighter coverage, which I usually am, I just mix it with a little primer or a serum and it’s still gorgeous. I’m light beige, with fair skin and pink to neutral undertones

i have a love hate relationship with this foundation. i have oily skin and it looks beautiful when first applied but after a few hours my oil comes to join the party. the transfer is horrible it comes off on everything

Zenobia McRae Same! I have had it for about a year and only have used it like 5 times. It is one that looks good for a short day, but don't try to wear it for a long period of time.
I tried the porefessional, the elf matte balm and the baby skin primer, those will not work well with it. I am gonna get a deluxe sample of the hourglass one Nikkia uses to see if it will work with my skin. I LOVE this foundation, I am older though and it did settle in my lines. I've not had a lot of oil break thru with it aside from the usual break up beside my nostrils but ALL foundation does that for me no matter what.
Zenobia McRae i use the same primer with it and it doesn't stay put. I'm oily within 4 hours. I honestly think that the foundation doesn t work good with that primer.
I got a sample of this in Medium Neutral from Sephora and wore it for about 10 hrs yesterday. I could not get myself to remove it. My skin is generally so oily and I have freckles by my t-zone, and this foundation make my skin look so smooth and flawless. It didn't even clog my giant pores, unlike other foundations I've used. 11/10
Ahhh, I am SO happy that I requested this and that you enjoyed it! I had a feeling you would. I love this foundation, though sometimes it can cake up on me if I apply too much so I really have to be careful. But it really does make my skin look super smooth!

I had the same experience as you. I bought it a couple years ago and hated it. Then just recently a friend of mine raved about it. I decided to give it another shot. It is now a holy grail for me. I returned the first one I bought so I thought maybe the formula changed but based on your experience (using the same one you had) it hasn't. I love it!!

This is one of the few foundations I've tried that I didn't have to touch up throughout the day. Even at the end of a long work day my t-zone stayed matte. Literally just ordered this a few days ago because it was on sale for $25, so I tried out my Sephora sample to test it out and bought it on a whim. Usually stick with cheap bb creams but I want a really good foundation that will last awhile. Can't wait for it to arrive!!
I have very oily skin and I love this foundation. It's a great match and does not oxidize. I use the make up forever mattifying primer

Love this foundation, I wore it yesterday from 10am to 3am running errands cleaning my house and to the bar, I didn't a primer since I have acne prone and combo skin and it did not move an inch. even on my nose, which most foundations always break apart on, it stayed flawless. when I went to take it off my makeup still looked perfect I was amazed I'm so glad you liked this foundation!

I have oily skin and this is my go to foundation. I use it with their setting powder and I'm good to go! I love this stuff.
Love this foundation so much. Used the have oliy acne skin now I have normal sometimes dry skin after finding a good acne treatment system. This foundation works well for both skin types. I set the face with little amount of powder (tarte’s as well) and urban decay all-nighter setting spray and it lasts forever. I’ve worn it in the summer while in the desert and at work in a hot kitchen, cooking in front of a stove, running around, lifting, and carrying stuff. It’s great. Also the flower beauty setting sprays are amazing to make make up last, ive tried both matte and hydrating ones and both lock in the makeup and are half the price of urban decay spray.

Chelsea Rae it is reallyyy awesome! I use it as a BB cream...very natural looking and wears really well when pared with the right primer and setting power
This foundation looked amazing on you. I did not have the same luck with it. It always got super oily on me and do not try to build it up. It gets super cakey super quickly when you build it up!!
I wanted this foundation to work SO badly for me. SO badly. But it did not. After like an hour, I was oily and it separated on my skin so badly. I returned it to Ulta and got a different foundation from Tarte that worked fantastic for me. I'm jealous that it worked so well for her.
I had horrible separation using this foundation when I tried it. My t-zone and my chin was all separated after just a few hours. I returned it. I personally don't think it is good for oily skin. I don't know what she did differently to make it work for her oily skin. I guess we are all different though.
I had the same problem after using it and loving it, something changed and it would separate so very badly. Especially on the nose, it looked so bad one day and when I came home and saw how terrible my nose looked, I was so embarrassed I went around like that all day.
Sarah Beth SS yes same here! Only my whole chin looked noticeable separated and patchy. I was like... seriously? I was walking around and talking to people like that...
I have this foundation. I doesn't break me out, that's the good thing. However, it transfers to anythinf that touches your skin. She did not include in this video if it comes off or not.

Yessss mine transfers a lot, to the point where I cant even apply powder/blush/concealer on my face cause all the foundation will just come off
I love this foundation!! I've gone through 4 tubes. A little goes a long way. It's full coverage is amazing for my acne prone skin. It's better to apply with a brush than a beauty blender. I've had no problem with separation. And I love the the color shade options.
I have that foundation in my drawer sitting as well... I have tried it before and honestly, like you, don't remember how it wore either or why the foundation didn't stand out for me... now I have to pull it back out and try it again. I thought I loved this foundation until I wore it in the South here in America. The heat and humidity did horrible things to this foundation. In the winter, this works great for me, but in the summer it's got to be good old Estee Lauder Double Wear. I'm glad it worked for you though. It was stunning on you.
Guys hourglass immaculate foundation is really good!!! I had a really oily t zone and normal to dry everywhere else and it worked and stayed for soo long in all cold and hot weather! I used it with the hourglass primer and it was amazing!

I just tried it today and LOVED it!! I used the Rimmel setting powder, UD oily setting spray, and skindinavia setting spray with, and it was amazing!!! It was 115 outside today so I was sweaty. I even took a nap and woke up and my makeup still looked awesome!!!

I have been using this foundation for years- since I was 22 years old. I used to rock and roll, hangout with my friends and attend events using this foundation. I would show up looking like shit in rainy weather and just had my hair and makeup done and I got so many compliments that I looked like a doll, gorgeous and had a beautiful face while all those girls had layers of makeup on and spent hours getting ready. I did effortless beauty. People who know me know it's all hair and makeup. I would take so many selfish and videos of myself, so this is one of my favorite foundation but it's not for oily skin, so you do have to touch up on the makeup or blot out the oils. I do have pictures of all my hundreds of selfies I used to take. Lol😊When I moved to Seattle Washington, I was also using this foundation so my colleagues know how I look like without makeup on and they seen me doing my hair and makeup at work many times, so they know I have a beautiful and gorgeous face when I get ready. I just don't try. 😊 its my favorite foundation, but I don't use makeup products for oily skin. I would just put foundation on and that's it. No primer or anything so those people were so jealous. Lol😊😂And I smelled really good! Lol😊
Hated this foundation,it looked nice when first applied but then it just melted off my face. I find that mousse-y foundations don't stay on my face very well.

this is my holy grail foundation ever bcoz its really full coverage n i love the mousse texture that it has bcoz its so easy to blend. its more satisfying when i applied the urban decay loose finishing powder on top of it.

I LOVE this foundation!!!! So glad you finally included it for us oily skinned bishes hahah I'm oily AF and this is the first foundation I actually like! I've gone through 3 bottles of it now :) If you pair it with their translucent powder you can go about 7 hours before looking oily (even then, a quick swipe of translucent powder makes your face look fresh again).
Love this foundation and love your reviews ! I used to use bare minerals as my holy grail then switched to this and haven't looked back since! I have very oily skin.

I have dry combo skin and I love this foundation! I would recommend only using a little bit, a good primer and a setting spray. It stays on me all day and my t zone doesn't get oily at all. (Which it does really bad with other foundations) but as all foundations go. It depends on your preference and your skin type. I would still say it's worth a try.

This is the only foundation I have used for the last 4 mo. I have dry skin. I love this foundation. Sometimes I put in a drop of vitamin E oil. I use Benefit porefessional primer and powder to set. It never separates or settles into lines. also does not oxidize!
finally someone says this foundation is medium coverage. if only i tried this as sample before buying the tube. bought this cos i thought it was really full coverage. wasnt really looking forward layering this foundation even it does look natural after layering for full coverage. using this foundation requires work, to prevent cracking and transfers, try mixing with a drop of face oil. it worked wonders for me. i hope it works for uols too!
p/s, i have textured and combo skin . i used the maracuja oil. xx
I love this foundation! It works fine with my combination skin. It's really light weight and build able and works best with a primer and a powder on top for me
It is a smooth, wonderful feeling, beautifying foundation. I love it too. I use Smashbox Primer and Tarte concealer before use.

I got this foundation over a year ago, used it a few times and it kinda got lost in the foundation drawer, I just came back to it and I've used it all week. Another good one I came back to was Marc Jacobs genius gel.. now I love them lol
not only good it is ,but also amzing skills in makeup you have. these two match perfectly.

This is the foundation I've been using for awhile and I love it!!!!
The funny thing is, I have had this for about 6 months and didn't really care for it when I first bought it. I tried it again yesterday and ABSOLUTELY loved it! My oily skin looked amazing and natural...not to mention that it actually lasted for most of the day. It is definitely my new favorite.

I just bought this foundation and i am OBSESSED i have no transfer from it and it makes my skin matte from 5am to 11pm! I used to use the maybelline fit me foundation but I only got around 4 hours with it and then I would need touching up.
I just bought this a couple of weeks ago and I love it! I have very oily skin on my t-zone and my foundation always separates but this foundation stays on!
This is my holy grail foundation. I am oily as they come. For those of you who are oily and didn't have luck with this, try it with the tarte clean slate pore less primer. :) perhaps that will work better!!

I use this foundation on the daily I actually like it a lot. I have fairly oily skin and I still bake my face with it yes I can say the oil can come through not a lot I’d recommend keeping a translucent powder on hand in case. Overall I love it.
I use Tarte! A little goes a long, long way! I put Avon's Vit. C Serum on first then my Clinique oil free moisturizer followed by Avon's primer then Tarte foundation and so forth.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation (combination/oily skin.) It is definitely not full coverage, but it does give you a pretty, airbrushed effect. It wears better for me in the winter when my skin isn't quite so oily, otherwise it tends to separate a bit. Coverage is buildable, but it takes a lot of effort to get a fuller coverage, but then you are fighting against "cake face." I think it is best suited for those who have normal skin and want a medium coverage.
