The only reason he's in this game is cause he was listening to his dad, then lost the egg, then he just stuck around cause a kid, a tomboy, and a dog really needed him. I give him major points for being awesome just because, sorta like Ninten. Ness was chosen to be a hero, but some of us decide for ourselves.

I always found it really cool (and also a but worrying) that Duster is able to fight and use kicking for his main attacks despite having a bad leg. I mean yeah, he's a theif and probably very limber from training at a young age, but man it's still very badass.
