    A Preface. The name, "Maidenless Runt" is a joke and just me taking the piss. I'm not the authority on Elden Ring builds and I'm certainly not about to shame anyone in how they choose to play. However, this build is monstrously efficient and if you REALLY NEED to beat NG+7, say no more. This build will get the job done and you won't have to deal with half of bosses' movesets; they won't live long enough. This build is extremely powerful. And completely derivative.
    For this Build: This build is a high Arcane build centered around using Seppuku-buffed Scavenger's Curved Swords in conjunction with bleed and successive hits to do an absurd amount of damage in a very short amount of time. The reason being is it syngerizes so well with itself. The White Mask and Lord of Blood's Exultation boost attack power by 10% and 20% respectively when bleed is procced for 20 seconds. The Raptor's Black Feathers boost jump attacks by 10%. The successive hit talismans buff attack power further. Seppuku increases bleed build-up and attack power. And lastly, Golden Vow, Howl of Shabriri and Ritual Sword talisman boost attack power even further. There is no real strategy to this. Any of the Scavenger's Curved Swords' attacks hit at least twice with running and jump attacks hitting up to four times. Successive hits will trigger not only attack buffs but also proc bleed which buffs again. There is very little bosses can do when you are doing that much damage that quickly. Again, this build is really strong, but it comes at a cost. Victory becomes but a hollow inevitability rather something to be savored.
    Talismans:
    1. Lord of Blood's Exultation (increases attack power by 20% for 20 seconds when bleed is procced nearby)
    2. Ritual Sword (increases attack power by 10% at full health)
    3 .Rotten Winged Sword Insignia (Successive hit buff: 6%, 8%, 13%)
    4. Millicent's Prosthesis (Successive hit buff: 4%, 6%, 11% and increases Dexterity by 5)
    Flex:
    -Claw (Increases jump attack power by 15%)
    Physick:
    1. Greenburst Crystal Tear: Increases Stamina regen
    2. Thorny Cracked Tear: Successive hit buff (9%, 13% and 20%)
    Drip (There is no drip here only function): White Mask, Raptor's Black Feathers, Fire Prelate Gauntlets and Greaves
    How to improve this build: Hahahahahaha. No. Seriously. No. This build has TOO much going for it. From nerfed Seppuku and powerstance status build up and yet this build still wiped out 18 bosses in under 20 minutes. This set-up apparently used to be STRONGER which feels ridiculous considering how powerful this build still is. That being said: 80 Arcane instead of 73 (this was made with a Confessor origin class which is the worst at min-maxing an Arcane build). The best origin class would probably be Bandit as it has the 9 Strength needed to use the Scavenger's Curved Swords and needs only one more point into Dexterity to use them. From there, there is not much else that can be done to improve this build. It's pretty foolproof.
    Buff Process for a VERY OP Scavenger's Curved Sword Build:
    1. Drink Physick (Thorny Cracked Tear and Greenburst)
    2. Two Hand Left Hand Scavenger's Curved Sword: Use Seppuku
    3. D Pad Right to use Seal so you don't lose Left Hand Seppuku
    4. Use Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri
    5. Switch to Right Hand Scavenger's Curved Sword (DON'T TWO HAND)
    6. Use 2nd Seppuku.
    7. Heal to regain Ritual Sword Talisman buff.
    8. You have about 20-30 seconds of being at "Max power". Go to town.

    Surprised scavenger curved swords never got a major nerf, they’re just so good in any situation and that move set is just *insert Pacha 👌 meme*

      @ironstark917  9 месяцев назад

      Hahaha the Pacha meme. You appeal to my soul.
      But yeah, Dual Scavenger's Curved Swords DID get something of a nerf that indirectly targeted them. Seppuku got nerfed from adding 30 Bleed build-up instead of its original 84 bleed build-up and takes more health. Powerstanced status effect weapons got a reduction on how much status they inflict as well to the point it is still better than one status weapon, but it is not "double" the status application like one would think. Both of those things directly hit set-ups like this one, but frankly, as the video shows, that wasn't nearly enough to make this set-up obsolete.

      @@ironstark917 honestly you should have in your offhand sepukku and then don’t have an affinity, well maybe keen whatever is better so you can put cold grease on it so you’re hitting for both blood and frost. Regardless though these things are way too fun to use at any NG+.

      Yeah, that's true.
      Might use that idea for a later build. Maybe I'll call it "The Maidenless Reborn" haha.
      I mainly did this video because despite being one of the more popular bleed builds options and me having over 1,400 hours in Elden Ring, I had never used it.

    A truly maidenless build indeed! Yeah, it's wild to see how fast this set up just melts bosses, almost to the point that the fight is no longer fun.
    I usually try to avoid using bleed when I play because of how OP it is, but it's still an impressive affinity to see in action. I've actually started using the stamina regen/ consecutive attacks combo in my physick after seeing your videos and its been awesome!
    Great work on the video!

    • @ironstark917
      @ironstark917  9 месяцев назад +2

      Haha yeah, this build definitely made the "naughty" list. Definitely agreed on it melting things a little too well. I tend to like the ebb and flow of combat and with this, it's just "I have a plan: attack!"
      What's funny is my usual go-to bleed builds when I do them is actually Bloodflame with Heavy affinity because I don't like sacrificing my physical attack for a status.
      Glad I could be of help! I find successive hit buffs to be a great way to make a build NG+ proof because it rewards aggressive play and exploiting openings with bosses and the stamina regen allows you to keep attacking. :) I think you'll really like a build I'm working on now using Cold Warhawk's Talons.

    Would cragblade be better than seppuku?

    • @ironstark917
      @ironstark917  8 месяцев назад +1

      That's a more complicated question than I think you realize haha. But I'll give it a go at answering.
      On a fundamental level when only accounting for raw attack power and, if we are not considering the use of talismans, yes, Cragblade would be better. Cragblade adds 15% more damage and 10% more stance damage for 60 seconds. So, throwing it on two Occult Scavenger's Curved Swords would mean 30% for a minute.
      Now, Seppuku, on its own, wouldn't be better than Cragblade in terms of raw damage. Seppuku's buff is percent-based, it is a flat rate of 30 more base damage. This build's Occult Scavenger's Curved Swords have an attack rating of 543 before buffs a piece. 30 divided by 543 is 5.52%, making a double Seppuku buff roughly an 11% increase in power. However, Seppuku also adds 30 more bleed build-up. This build's Occult Scavenger's have 86 Bleed Build-up, which would bring them to 116 Bleed Build-up, which would also offset the fact that powerstance status build up is nerfed because of how high the bleed build-up would be. Both the 30 increase to attack power and 30 increase to bleed build-up last for a minute.
      So, case closed, Cragblade is better for raw damage and Seppuku is better for status build-up? Nope. And that's because talismans and equipment are a thing.
      So, remember when I saw Cragblade is a better buff for raw power when not considering talismans? That's because when accounting for two specific pieces of equipment, Seppuku will become a better buff than Cragblade. Lord of Blood's Exultation increases attack power by 20% when blood loss is triggered for 20 seconds. White Mask increases attack power by 10% when blood loss is triggered for 20 seconds. Both of those buffs are triggered by the use of Seppuku because you make yourself bleed.
      So what you have is Dual Seppuku's base attack buff of roughly 11%, Lord of Blood's Exultation's attack buff of 20% and the White Mask's attack buff of 10%, which I'm pretty sure multiplicatively stack, meaning it would be higher than their sum of 41% making it a superior buff out of the gate to dual Cragblade which would only have a 30% increase in power. Especially because even though the effect of Lord of Blood's Exultation and White Mask only last for 20 seconds, bleed is something that will be continually triggered by this build. And while Cragblade also has the added stance damage, that is kind of a nullified point; you're more likely to defeat a boss first with this set-up before ever stance breaking them.
      So, case closed, Seppuku is better than Cragblade in both attack power and status application? Still not necessarily.
      So, if someone were to use Cragblade instead of Seppuku and use the White Mask and Lord of Blood's Exultation, they would not get the initial boost of attack power right out of the gate because unlike Seppuku, Cragblade doesn't apply self-blood loss. It also doesn't buff bleed build-up. However, 86 Bleed Build-up is already pretty high so if bleed were to be triggered within the first minute of the fight, which it probably would, you would have dual Cragblade's 30% buff, LoB's Exhalation's 20% buff and the White Mask's 10% buff also stacking multiplicatively. Which is 60% or higher attack buff is pretty insane, granted that power would only last for 20 seconds after you inflicted bleed, but also, those 20 seconds is likely all you would need to finish them off.
      So what is the case then? Which is Cragblade better than Seppuku or Seppuku better than Cragblade? It... depends. Seppuku will give you a better start right out of the gate because of its self-application of bleed. It will also be able to consistently trigger Lord of Blood's Exultation and the White Mask due to having a higher potential for bleed. However, if one used Cragblade and they did use Lord of Blood's Exultation and White Mask, it would be much higher buff but less likely to trigger due to a lower bleed potential.

I think the only thing that helped made this version feel as busted is I was also using Golden Vow, Howl of Shabriri and Ritual Sword to push the raw damage even higher but those 3 will make most set-ups significantly stronger (even the Coded Swords which I learned are actually pretty amazing assuming you're not fighting Maliketh or Radabeast, did that run right before this one)

    Arent bandit curved swords better?

    • @ironstark917
      @ironstark917  6 месяцев назад +1

      That depends on your definition of "better". I hope you're ready for a lot of maths. lol. For a pure Arcane Curved Sword Bleed build, Scavenger's Curved Sword set to the Occult affinity is very good for min-maxing and only needing to invest in one damage stat, opening up room to be able to also level Faith to have access to buffs. On top of that, Scavenger's Curved Sword has native bleed so the Occult affinity will increase both raw AR and bleed build-up. And the Scavenger's Curved Sword has really good scaling with Arcane in the Occult affinity with a B scaling (scaling value: 136). With base strength and dexterity and 80 Arcane, the Scavenger's Curved Sword would have an attack rating of 525 each before buffs
      Now, Bandit's Curved Sword with Blood affinity will have higher bleed build-up, however, its at the sacrifice of a) better overall attack rating b) good scaling., which you also need the Blood affinity to give the Bandit's Curved Sword bleed because it doesn't have it natively. Bandit's Curved Sword with Blood affinity gets a C scaling in Strength (value: 60), a C scaling in Dexterity (value: 83) and a D scaling in Arcane (value: 43). So, Bandit's Curved Sword with the Blood affinity scales with more damage stats but has significantly weaker scaling than Scavenger's Curved Sword with the Occult afffinty. Because of that, it would take a Blood Bandit's Curved Sword 70 Dexterity and 80 Arcane to match 80 Arcane Scavenger's Curved Sword at 525 attack rating. So, 56 more levels just to match 80 Arcane Scavenger's Curved and even then, with the same stat spread, with 70 Dexterity and 80 Arcane, Occult Scavenger's Curved Sword would have an attack rating of 566, so Blood Bandit's still wouldn't be better.
      For Blood Bandit's Curved Sword to be better than Occult Scavenger's Curved Sword in both bleed build-up and attack rating with the same stat spread, it would take 35 Strength, 80 Dexterity and 80 Arcane. But again, look at what I'm saying. Roughly 90 more levels compared to just going with Occult Scavenger's Curved Sword at 80 Arcane. So, better? Eventually. It would take many more levels for Bandit's Curved to be genuinely and objectively better in all aspects.
