Met her today standing at the coffee stand 1/6/2024 and I complimented her ring. She said she been married 52 years and I said wowwwwwww!!!! Always ask the secret to being together for so long. She said I don’t argue and God she love her husband. She gave me her podcast to watch and we departed from each other. Went to my table and I looked to the left she walked up to me and gave me a certificate to eat that she wasn’t going to need because her and husband were leaving. I gave her a hug and told her thank you. Beautiful woman and I’m happy I had conversations with her
I made it through this whole episode without crying until he said, She complained about parking at the school and I told her, you'll never drive there again. Lord! I've seen what you've done for others 🙌🏽🖤

I needed this testimony at this time in August 2023. I've been married for 17 years and know others in my church who aren't willing to share their testimony after being married 50+ years when it is much needed.🙏🏾 I shared this link with my husband and can only pray that he will watch its entirety and be blessed. I cried like a baby 😭...the hugs came out of hurt, you can't hug somebody if you've never been hurt. But when you've been hurt, you know how to hug. A sincere hug eases the hurt of the other person. I've been told that I give good hugs; now, I know why. Thank you for this 💜
"Count your blessings, but NEVER your disappointments! Because the devil will ride in your disappointments and make you feel like you will never accomplish anything!" What a word! Hallelujah! I loved this episode! WISDOM was poured out in this episode. I pray everyone who listens to this interview will learn something! Praise God! This was more than just about marriageand relationships! This was about trusting God and how important a relationship with Him is! "Without God we can't and without us God won't!"
My mom shared this today and I was led to watch it this evening before going to bed. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, such a powerful testimony. I'm 45 and single, I've never had a serious relationship and at times think something is wrong with me. The last few weeks I've heard God say, trust my timing. I'm choosing to trust God and do life according to the Holy Word.
It's never too late. I was 52 when I married (celebrating 3 years so far). God has not forgotten about you. Stay in faith, it will happen. God Bless!! ☺️
You’ve never had a serious relationship!!! Why sis? Please tell….is it you? Do you not get out enough? Do you not trust men? Do you not love unconditionally? Are you challenged in anyway? I’m curious! You need to read some books like Thee Relationship Playbook and other dating books! It will help you!
This is probably my FAVORITE episode. I literally STOPPED working to listen. I pray I experience this level of sacrifice, obedience, patience, and love. Marriage is so much more then the glits and glams of social media.
As someone who was married to a wife who was stricken with brain cancer, their story really touched me. I remember the days when my Angel was really sick and I had to be strong for the both of us. The days when she lacked the energy to do anything, I had to do everything and I loved every minute of it because, I loved her and we took our vows aseriously. We were married for 5 years and she fought until the very end. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish that I could’ve taken her place. These two are truly a blessing from above. They show the true value of marriage, they are absolutely amazing and beautiful and to my wife Toya, your husband will always love and miss you my Angel.
My husband and I are newlyweds and we just celebrated our 1 year anniversary last month. This podcast was such a blessing. We hope and pray that we can have a blessed marriage just like this. Thank you Grandma and Grandma for all of your wisdom. This is what #BLACKLOVE looks like. ❤️
I’M NOT SETTLINGGGGGG! This episode was a sign from God that He’s cultivating me and my husband to have this kind of love. Thanks for bringing on this amazing couple. #Thisisrealblackloveatitsfinest!

When she spoke about his cancer it made me cry. This was dope. I have to say that this level of trust is earned, notice how she said she believed he can do anything. That's because he's proven himself to her over and over and over again. The trust that people desire isn't something they just get, you have to show a woman that she can fully trust you because you have a history of doing what you said you would do and not failing. Please remember this when you say that you want trust over love.
This episode is an instant classic! The spirit of God is oozing all out of them. They convicted me, encouraged me, and inspired me all in all. I love this couple.
Yes! They convicted, encouraged, and inspired me as well! And I'm so happy to hear that statement from a man. Not to many men will admit to that publicly! God bless you!
Grandpa Ronald BLESSED my heart! He spoke my language. When God takes us through challenges He is testing our posture. One year later I'm STILL shocking the doctors because of how my body is healing from Stage 4 Metastasis Gastric Cancer, Ulcer and H. Pylori Bacteria. My testimony is that God didn't tell me to worry so I didn't because God Is...He Chose Me To Live!!!
I loved the part when grandma said “all things flow from his pocket”😂❤️ I just love them🥺 What a beautiful love story and I love how they centre everything around God.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Seeing Laterras laugh, after we’ve cried last week, this has brought me joy on today! I have marinated in todays show. This was an awesome segment! Grandma Linda taught me as the Lady In Waiting! Haven’t even finished the video ❤❤
This couple resonates with me so much. My husband and I are 8 years apart, we met at the ages 17 and 25, our first born passed away, and I too filed for divorce, but died to self to get my hubby back. My hubby and I are 13 years strong and I pray we are blessed to see 51 years. I thank you both for keeping it LIT🙌🏾🙏🏾
I’ve had so many disappointments in life. I lost my son to suicide. My husband who I loved dearly passed away from a massive heart attack. I haven’t stopped loving God. But to be very transparent, I was beginning to lose hope……that I would find joy in living life again instead of just existing. But after watching the Griffins and listening to them, I know that I know that God still has a plan for me….and that even after huge disappointments I can still have life and have it more abundantly. My heart was broken but I am in the hands of the Great Physician who is healing and restoring me. Thank you for this powerful and anointed episode. And yes, I used to work at Blue Cross. They called Ron Griffin the Silver Gray Fox back in the day and a lot of women were after him😂 I was just a kid then but I see there could only be one woman that God made for Pastor Ron…..Linda you are the BEST….spicy, real, transparent and loving. Blessings to the both of you and THANK YOU.
I hope folks aren't just hanging on to their stories about the good times, but also the challenges. To file for divorce after 20 years, him, not leaving the house in spite of that and her choosing to rekindle their marriage is no easy thing. Loving someone in spite of the flaws is real love. There's a lot of negotiating between we're not getting along and divorce.
I agree! Their testimony is a blessing. That being said, their testimony is not to convince those that are in unhealthy relationships or marriages to stay. Their marriage was built on trust and respect and that is why they’ve made it thus far.
Yes, going through the good and the bad in marriage is worth it! Every relationship, whether married or not goes through. We have been married for 10 years and it is not easy; like you said, love people in spite of their flaws :)
I'm thirty minutes in. I have been praying and asking God for help in my marriage. When I say My Father in Heaven prepares the answer ahead of time all the way in Texas and sends the help! This is giving me a new wind, a fresh breath of air! I prayed this morning that I am in expectation for breakthrough. I been asking God for an older couple that can give wisdom. The Lord has supplied. God bless and multiply The Griffins. God bless and increase this podcast. THANK YOU 😭😭🙌🏾
This episode set the standard & expectation for what I desire in my life. I am affirming that God will bless me with a marriage as strong, intentional & beautiful as this! ❤️🙌🏾
Grandma & Grandpa ❤️ God working in mysterious (and vexxing) ways, but always working for our good. Amen! This super fly and obedient couple’s testimony has blessed my life. Wise words!
Thank you so much King for airing this episode, I can totally identify. I’m from Ontario Canada, May of “2018” I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer which spread to my brain. The doctors said there’s nothing they can do for me, and gave me a certain time to live. To cut a long story short, I’m still here today, praising my Jesus, and giving thanks to Almighty God. I refuse to die! Death cannot touch me, it’s not my time to go, my purpose is not yet finished. I want to get married again, and I asked the Lord for another chance to do it right. I now have the understanding that marriage is more than have sex legally, it is designed by God, to show off Christ and the church.
Grandma Linda and Paw Paw Ronald, I understood the cancer story. My youngest daughter had cancer and I refuse to eat or Cook 👩🏽🍳 in front of her. We still fast together when she has her checkup. She is 8 years cancer free. She is currently ten years old.
LONGEVITY = LOVE•GEVITY There is a lot I've learned from this story of striving, believing, communication, and love. Nearly 52 years of marriage and still standing strong on the foundation of love. This is what you don't see and hear enough of on these social media platforms/handles. If only true love got more exposure...where would we be as men & women.
My husband and I are newly married and this episode was such a blessing and inspiration to our marriage journey! Praying for as much happiness and love when we reach 51 years!
This might be the absolute best one. True honesty from a couple who have seen the battlefield. I love how they acknowledged God as the one who brought them through every battle ❤ these two
Lord I'm just a few minutes in and I'm already crying. When she said, "He is my earthly hero....I believe he can do anything." Whew! We use the term relationship goals too loosely but this couple is truly relationship goals! Ok...let me keep watching... lol
I was a member of The Rose of Sharon and their amazing granddaughter Hunter is my niece. What you see here is pure mom and dad. I loved this so much. Thank you for having them on this podcast so they can bless others. Oh, and mom's hugs are definitely all that.
Thankyou so much for this , I literally just got out the hospital yesterday, pregnant with heart failure with an injection fraction rate less than 20%. I’m married to a man I believe I was supposed to stand for in marriage but no longer have a desire to. I realized I stop praying because I seen no results , I’m still not sure what I wanna do as far as divorce but I do know you spoke to me and encouraged me deeply . Thanks for having this amazing couple on. Too many years ahead love Letitia!
I just started shouting!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 You give me and my husband hope, as a newlywed of 2 years, and a late bloomer - First time married in my 40s. Thank you for the inspiration!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This episode blessed me! My husband and I have been married for 16 years and the wisdom these two imparted was so needed. Marriage takes work. It’s a give and take. It’s not easy, but with the right partner, it’s worth it. I’m currently going through a medical condition right now and Grandpa Ron’s testimony blessed me. We need more of these types of conversations to happen in and out of the church. I firmly believe that when we can hear stories of coming out in the other side of trials and how to treat our spouses, we’d have less divorce. Loved this episode so much! I could listen to them all day! ❤
Ohh my God, thank you Future Wifey Podcast,l needed the affirmation that l need not to SETTLE for anything than the BEST as lm going through an unexpected break up where l was somehow considering resuscitate it.
This episode❣️❣️❣️❣️ I don’t know how this is going to be topped. This was such a Blessing. Thank you grandma Linda and Grandpa Ron and Laterras for the wisdom.
I have laughed, cried, been poured into, but most of all blessed by this episode! Hope has been restored to my heart. I thank you for your wisdom, sharing your journey and most of all being real with your walk🙏🏽
WOW!!! I've been married for 27 years, and I promise they just told the story of how my husband and I met and married even down to my husband now being a pastor. I pray🙏🏾 that we will continue to mirror this beautiful man and woman of GOD. Thank you 😊 💓
Yo! This episode kept poppin’ up on my timeline and I refused to watch it-for no particular reason. But I heard the Spirit say, “Watch it! There’s a lot of gems in there for you.” Maaaan, I’m so grateful I was obedient and finally watched. I learned so much about the Most High’s love, obedience, trust, sacrifice, true love, the Most High’s will for our lives as opposed to our own plans, faith, family, forgiveness, patience and endurance. Man! This was awesome. All praises to the Most High!
22 minutes in and the tears keep flowing. Thank you for your transparency Grandma and Grandpa. Your story opened my eyes WIDE to the Power and the Blessings of God.
There aren't enough words to describe how powerful this interview was. So many lessons to learn and so many gems to treasure. I'm not the same and I'm thankful that I came across this podcast! All the best in Jamaica! 🇯🇲
I’m 26 years old and I just got out of a continuous situation with my daughters father. I’ve been hooked on your videos binge watching, I’ve never been married but I have this feeling over me that’s making me dive into learning more about marriage and hearing peoples stories. I feel marriage is something I’m starting to want more and more, and the feeling grows the more I watch your videos. Thank you for this atmosphere for young and old to come and learn, grow, and heal in some way just by listening to peoples journeys and testimonies.
This story defines the relationship I share with my husband. The highs and lows, age differences of 14 years 9 months his junior, and cultural up bringing. We experienced power struggles, sickness, unemployment and grief, Together. We became best friends after the first 5 years, and as I write this message in year 13 of marriage , we STILL choose one another and work hard at our marriage. We've learned that what affects one, affects the other and we take it to the LORD, in Prayers❤
I'm in my office laughing so out loud! OMG! They're officially my cyber grandparents! I love them. They have blessed me TODAY! Laterras, thank you for bringing them to your podcast!
When I tell you I haven’t moved since I clicked on this episode. This is such a healing episode. When God has given me the ability to believe in marriage again. I’m so thankful to know God will give me a marriage that will give God glory . The reason why I say that is because he gave me a testimony in 2019 and the story is still developing . But I know my marriage will give God glory . The way God is still using this couple in their 51 years in marriage. As well as this podcast .. the way tears are flowing as you all ended in prayer .. it’s more I can say ..but whew And that point on fasting Jesus
1:00:51 Wow I just noticed how Grandma Linda instinctively knew Grandpa needed something to drink. Wow in the middle of an interview, talking, multiple things going on at one time and she knew he needed something to drink. I wonder if she could hear that his throat was getting dry… she handed him the drink and never missed a beat in the interview. That’s a connection and true love when you can instantly met a need and not miss a beat!! Wow!!
Lord!! I cried and then I laughed!! I been married to my husband for 26 years!! This episode made me realize we will forever grow in our relationship!! The love of God is so powerful!! Wow!!
I’m thankful for the Griffin couple for their testimony!! Their openness is so great my marriage lasted 5 years and now I’m 84yrs old and they sure blessed me!
"Count your blessings, but never your disappointments." So many gems were dropped during this episode but that 'bombshell' resonated within the innermost core of my spirit. Whoa!!! Thanks Dear Future Wifey for having this beautiful couple pour from their hearts unto mine. This was an outpouring of timeless wisdom! Blessings from 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲
This beautiful. So many people will stop talking to good people over the smallest things and trust me when I say the smallest things. You got to be resilient. Let's take notes people.
The beauty of this episode was that it showed that the marriage is dependent in the people in the marriage 😊. They met, were attracted to each other, fell in love & grew in love as the years went by as individuals & as a couple. May they continue to live long & healthy lives with each other.
There has been some amazing guests on this podcast, but this is by far my favorite episode and couple. I laughed and almost cried. This level of love and commitment is what we all pray for. 💗💗
Where do I begin! This episode blessed me so much!! On the first day of this year, I remarried my former ex-husband. We too had irreconcilable differences. FOOLISHNESS!! God knew! It is truly a GOD THING!! Marriage is a ministry and this thing is so much bigger than us!! Thank you. Not only was it entertaining but this episode confirmed so much for me! I pray blessings over their ministry and yours. I am excited to see what God has in store!!
Watching this has really allowed me to look at marriage differently. I have been married for 19 years and I am ready to leave. I feel as though my husband does not understand me and that we have grown apart. I feel as though he is no longer in love with me. He kisses me but only on a smack on the lips. We do not spend hardly any time together. He has his own company and I am a PO and we have recently opened and transitional home for women. He never supports anything that I do. I pray for our marriage and that our relationship gets better and that God does something fast. We are now not even sleeping in the same bed. I have said some really hurtful things to him and he has done the same. There is no respect anymore. But I REALLY LOVE MY HUSBAND AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT OR EVEN IF MY MARRIAGE IS REPAIRABLE. I continue to pray for revival. I was so blessed to see this couple. It is about the size of your obedience. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Authentic love is the best love! To see a couple who tells you the unadulterated truth is amazing! I love this couple! Us young married couples needed this!!! They are giving us the good, bad, & ugly and I’ve loved every minute of it!!!
I was truly blessed hearing the Griffins. I was not expecting to be this blessed from what they said. One of the most profound thing that Grandpa Ron said, "Count your blessings and not your disappointments!" I really needed to hear what they said. And their chemistry is so authentic, I could listen to them literally all day! Laterras... this was a great choice! I needed their testimony! God bless you and the Griffins!
OMG! Look at you Laterras, It is so nice to see you Full of Smiles and Laughter, not to mention the glow that I am seeing, you go Laterras. God will get you through it. This couple is amazing❤. God bless them❤️❤️.
This is the way marriage is supposed to be. Addiction and lack of communication destroyed my marriage. I filed for divorce because my ex husband and I spent the majority of our nearly 6 year marriage apart. I was out of order trying to hold the marriage together by myself. When there was nothing left to save, the LORD set me free from the trauma. Thank you Laterras!
This couple is a beautiful reflection of what my husband and I’s future will look like. What a treasure and blessing they have shared with the world. ❤
I’m so glad Hunter decided to share her grandparents with us.

What’s her podcast? She seems like a firecracker but a lovely woman.
I made it through this whole episode without crying until he said, She complained about parking at the school and I told her, you'll never drive there again. Lord! I've seen what you've done for others 🙌🏽🖤

THANK YOU 😭😭🙌🏾
May you marriage be blessed and filled with happiness peace and joy. Amen
I believe and receive it. Amen!
In Yeshua’s Mighty Name, Amen
Eccl. 4:9-12; GOD will give you a couple to hold you in prayer. I touch and agree; now get your heart right in GOD and watch HIM---Exodus 14:13-16!
Did you work it out?
They both have youthful spirits. I love them.
Undeniably the best 2 hours I’ve spent gaining a plethora of knowledge, laughter, understanding and patience. These 2 people…testimony at its finest!❤
This episode set the standard & expectation for what I desire in my life. I am affirming that God will bless me with a marriage as strong, intentional & beautiful as this! ❤️🙌🏾
They're such a beautiful, intellectual, and spiritual couple! The epitome of the word "power couple"!
#agree #saythatagain #truepowercouple #ijs 🤷🏾♀️
Exactly!!
"Count your blessings, but never your disappointments!"....Seeing this video 10+ months later, and this hit home 🙌🏽
Thank you 🙏🏽
Grandma & Grandpa ❤️ God working in mysterious (and vexxing) ways, but always working for our good.
Praying for you, that God grant you many days and fill you with your heart's desire.
Thank you so much @ Alison. Blessings’
Praise God
We thank God for your life
AMAZING TESTIMONY!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Their podcast is a spiritual medicinal formula for TRUE love through action and faith.
Love this!!!! I am ready for this kind of love ❤️
Grandpa Ronald and Grandma Linda are the epitome of GREATNESS. Thank you for this interview.
I love the way she looks at her Husband 🥰👑🥰🖤👑
Grandma Linda and Paw Paw Ronald, I understood the cancer story. My youngest daughter had cancer and I refuse to eat or Cook 👩🏽🍳 in front of her. We still fast together when she has her checkup. She is 8 years cancer free. She is currently ten years old.
🙌🏽
LONGEVITY = LOVE•GEVITY
There is a lot I've learned from this story of striving, believing, communication, and love. Nearly 52 years of marriage and still standing strong on the foundation of love. This is what you don't see and hear enough of on these social media platforms/handles. If only true love got more exposure...where would we be as men & women.
Man, I agree with you!!
@@wshelby83 It's a real life movie of laboring for love.
@@chrisparker6249 yh man! Love that stands the test of time!
@@wshelby83 Absolutely!
Totally agree we need more of this.
My husband and I are newly married and this episode was such a blessing and inspiration to our marriage journey! Praying for as much happiness and love when we reach 51 years!
Grandma Linda is so hilarious. Totally enjoyed this episode. So many pearls of wisdom in this 1 hour 52 minute instalment
“Count your blessings and never your disappointments”
“There’s HOPE after the HURT” wow✨🌻
This might be the absolute best one. True honesty from a couple who have seen the battlefield. I love how they acknowledged God as the one who brought them through every battle ❤ these two
So true because many base it on luck
I'm 39 and I've been married for 16 years! This here couple, is the truth!!!! God bless them🙌🏾
Lord I'm just a few minutes in and I'm already crying. When she said, "He is my earthly hero....I believe he can do anything." Whew! We use the term relationship goals too loosely but this couple is truly relationship goals! Ok...let me keep watching... lol
My GOD!!! “Heal the hurt; heal the heart!! When a black man gets delivered, black woman are automatically blessed! “
Yes!!
This is by far my favorite episode! They need a series. This is what the world needs again. The love, power, wisdom and honesty. Just everything!
"I'm in the spirit of holding on." I hollered
Omg I cried real tears when she said her dad showed up with a check with the exact amount that she needed to pay her bills
I was a member of The Rose of Sharon and their amazing granddaughter Hunter is my niece. What you see here is pure mom and dad. I loved this so much. Thank you for having them on this podcast so they can bless others. Oh, and mom's hugs are definitely all that.
I need her to go around and hug us all! I absolutely love them
I used to visit their church on several occasions, I lived in the neighborhood.
💗
This was so powerful. What a blessing we need more warriors on the battle field for the Lord.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾Amen!
"When black men get delivered, black women are automatically blessed."🔥🔥❤️❤️
Thankyou so much for this , I literally just got out the hospital yesterday, pregnant with heart failure with an injection fraction rate less than 20%. I’m married to a man I believe I was supposed to stand for in marriage but no longer have a desire to. I realized I stop praying because I seen no results , I’m still not sure what I wanna do as far as divorce but I do know you spoke to me and encouraged me deeply . Thanks for having this amazing couple on. Too many years ahead love Letitia!
I just started shouting!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
You give me and my husband hope, as a newlywed of 2 years, and a late bloomer - First time married in my 40s.
TEACH PASTOR “Count your blessings not your disappointments”
God knew we ALL needed this couple & their voices... ive learned ALOT from this episode
WOW!!! I've been married for 27 years, and I promise they just told the story of how my husband and I met and married even down to my husband now being a pastor. I pray🙏🏾 that we will continue to mirror this beautiful man and woman of GOD. Thank you 😊 💓
That's awesome!!!
Her husband here, my wife just told me that i had to see this. She was absolutely right. BUT GOD!
@@DanielSmith-kw1wx many blessings to the both of you!! You an example right here!
17 years in, and they spoke a lot our life as well
I wish I heard messages like this before I got married. This was AMAZING! I have been enlightened and empowered. I thank God for this channel.
They should have their own podcast they're that interesting ❤🔥
FACTS!
Same here, I skipped it for several days. So glad I listened
😂Same! 🙏🏾
Same! But when The Spirit of The Lord keeps pushing… mmmh, u gotta obey!😊
Dito 😂
22 minutes in and the tears keep flowing. Thank you for your transparency Grandma and Grandpa. Your story opened my eyes WIDE to the Power and the Blessings of God.
Exactly what I told my son
Amen!!! PHEW!!!
They had me crying laughing, as well as speaking a word that we all needed to hear. I love her humor, faith and how she keeps it real.
I don’t usually comment, but I have to say that this episode has blessed me immensely. Love and blessings from 🇨🇦
I love this couple! 20 minutes in and They have blessed me immensely ❤️
Yes!!!! Me too 🥰
@@nicoleprice354 Right! An absolute Blessing 💕
There aren't enough words to describe how powerful this interview was. So many lessons to learn and so many gems to treasure. I'm not the same and I'm thankful that I came across this podcast! All the best in Jamaica! 🇯🇲
One love 🇯🇲
Yesss indeed!!
Facts!
As well as this podcast .. the way tears are flowing as you all ended in prayer .. it’s more I can say ..but whew
And that point on fasting Jesus
This was ANNOITED,POWERFUL from beginning to end!!!!!!!
Wow!!
“It’s not about the size of the house it’s about the size of your obedience” ❤❤❤❤❤ that’s Good!
Yes Grandpa Ronald! Trust and Respect comes FIRST! 👏🏾👏🏾
The way Grandma looks at Pop.....TAKES ME OUT,EVERY TIME!!!! I LOVE THEIR LOVE💜💜🫂💜
This was one of the best podcast episodes I’ve EVER listened to . I’m so full after listening and took alot of gems away from this. Thank you ❤
Watching this has really allowed me to look at marriage differently. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
This!!
Every young man, whether you desire to be married or not, needs to watch this! It will bless your life man.
Authentic love is the best love! To see a couple who tells you the unadulterated truth is amazing! I love this couple! Us young married couples needed this!!! They are giving us the good, bad, & ugly and I’ve loved every minute of it!!!
25 minutes in and I’m laughing and crying back to back!!! 😭😭😭 thank you for this episode! I feel highly blessed and encouraged beyond measure! Wow! 🙌🏽
They are a wonderful couple. I could listen to them all day. The gems that I got from this is priceless.
