Update Jan 2022: I probably wouldn't vote for either of them at this point. Trump did a few good things economically, and then a lot of bad stuff and deficit spending, and he's just a massive prick and liar. But I'm not on board with bernie trying to turn the entire country into a high tax, high minimum wage, high social service beauracracy. That might work for some parts of the country, but to do it on a large national scale would be disastrous. I do appreciate his support for average working ppl tho.

Look, I think a lot of these elections are rigged in some way. How Biden ever won the democratic nomination is still a mystery. There was 0 enthusiasm surrounding Biden but he won. Bernie had tons of energy around his campaigne but he always loses even to Hillary, who was a terrible candidate. Ron Paul had tremendous energy and it all of a sudden came to a halt. I think they probably didn't care who won on the republican side because they had confidence Hillary would blast all of them. I really do think Trump becoming president was a mistake. I don't believe the people normally decide who is president at all.
I'm a democrat and I personally think Republican voters have just been dumbed down way too much because of right wing media and fox news. You could say I'm attacking free speech but I'm not. I'm attacking fact free speech. I liked Kasich the most out of all the 2016 Republicans but Jeb, Rand and Rubio seemed decent at the time. Republican voters however seem like they have the intelligence of a south park character.

They allowed 11 candidates since they lacked an adequate number of national polls to determine the candidates, as was done in previous years. Fiorina became 11th, so Rand was not the worst based on the polls.

And no new miles of wall built in the last 2 years and 7 months. Not one. We could build an amzing wall for just $40 billion, but the president is too inept and stupid to get it dinr. Should have had the Republican Congress approve the $40B in January 2017 and started construction in Feb 2017. We would have the majority of the wall done by now.

@Xan Ax ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. He had two houses of Republican congress from Jan 2017 to Jan 2019. He got a total of a little over 5 billion dollars total during that two years and zero since then. So far no new wall has been built, only building in places where the old wall/fencing already was there. He failed completely.

So why would a leader continue a candidacy in which he will almost certainly lose? Same reason politicians attend rallies, fundraisers, parades, etc- to spread ideals. Even if Paul does not pass as much as the primaries, his voice was still heard, his concepts still contemplated by some. I sincerely hope you are capable of understanding that philosophy; a stone creates a ripple in the pond.
I do not have many issues with Trump's political beliefs, but his character is too "red"- Too aggressive and too spontaneous. Even with the greatest of agenda, a candidate does not receive my support if I do not deem them psychologically and socially fit as a leader.
