Gov. Burgum would be my first pick for VP. I admire and respect Dr. Ben Carson and think he would make an excellent Secretary of State; he has wisdom, is cool under pressure and has nerves of steel. I have lived in ND all my life (70 years). I like Doug and he’s been fine for North Dakota. However, we were also doing fine BEFORE Burgum. We are a RED state. We have good work ethic and we’re patriotic people. We ACTUALLY believe people SHOULD work for what they want. We ACTUALLY pay back OUR own loans and don’t EXPECT others to pay them for us. Too bad more states aren’t like that.
