You have me concerned about going on these hikes without bear spray. I thought it was already discussed at planning stage before your trip. It seems the bears are more well fed atm with the salmon runs in full swing, so less grumpy.
Thank you for taking me on that hike because there is no way I could do that trail under my own steam. Between my low blood pressure and ( ex ) smokers lungs my hiking and rambling days are over. So I’m depending on you both to do my adventuring for me! 🌹❤️🌹❤️

There was a time whenI could traverse those climgs and rocky paths, but not so much these days. It is all drop dead gorgeous. Thanks, I enjoyed my visit. I moved to Oklahoma 30 years ago from Idaho and everyone said, "you'll get use to the heat and humidity"......It aint happened yet! I don't think I could tolerate humidity any higher than here in Oklahoma.....I think I would croak in Florida.

My hubby's parents had.a.cabin in Stamford NY. Oh was a.lovely.area..three.acres on middle of nowhere.and.in the front yard.was.a.creek.it had water.in it constantly. And there was nothing like opening the sliding doors.three of them off the sun porch in front of the cabin and you could fall asleep so easy to that sound every.nite!! We were heart broken when she sold.that.cabin .she.knew we.would.hav e.bought.it .but she.never thought of us even though we mentioned many times .we.loved it and we would buy it from her when she was.ready.miss that place!
If you ever go into Northern California by Mount Shasta you need to stop by the area called Castle Crags, It is a very beautiful area with lots of good hiking. Then of course you have Mount Shasta itself. Not that far away is a beautiful waterfalls called Burney Falls where the water flows right out of the cliff. Also in the area is Lava Beds National Monument and Mount Lassen. Shasta, Lassen and Lava Beds make up the southern end of the Cascade range and of course all are volcanic.
Time to get back down! I used to work on a golf course and remember when we had smoke , it was very heavy and made it hard to breathe! Not good for your lungs!

When I saw I miss you, mom The first thing that come to my mind was their mom had passed away and that must have been her favorite spot. But there's better ways of sending messages. The best way is to say it out loud. not to spray paint our beautiful land. It's a shame. Some people don't use their brains that God gave them to think with. Now I'm going to get onto the both of you. Why? In the heles Would you go on a walk like that without taking your water bottles and? your walking sticks? Those Moses were beautiful creatures. It's a shame There was so much smoke. I can just how amazed they beautiful that place is. I love the mountains. Please have a safe Journey.
