My husband and I had a very small and quick wedding (military woooo) so we also hope to have a ceremony/reception once his contract is over someday. We'll be married for at least 4 years by that point though 🤭 when we got hitched, I invited only my parents, my only 2 grandparents, and 2 friends (and only 1 could come) so I'd love to invite everyone I wanted to but didn't. I'm thinking we're going to call it a "vow renewal" or something
I hope that your wedding-redo is everything that you hope it will be 💕 its almost impossible for it not to be stressful, but don't feel obligated to go TOO far out of your comfort zone ❤

First of all: love seeing how the build is coming along and second of all: the thought of people coming to your house is so scary. You here about it with celebrities and youtubers all the time and I cannot fathom what is going through someone's head when they decide to do that so yes, we totally understand you not wanting to share your wedding details with us. The majority of us hope that your day is as special and wonderful as you want it to be

K, but will the venue be cat friendly? Because a wedding without the chaos crew seems incomplete. For real though, it would be cute to have a celebration video that cuts between a sim version of your wedding and the real thing :) just have fun with it Kayla. It’s supposed to be about you two. I did this when I got married at the start of the pandemic. We just did a small gathering for close family to get the paper work done, and we are planning our ceremony this year Now that the pandemic if officially over

my biggest problem with how the sims 4 looks is the disgustingly long torsos. like. they are so long. it throws off my entire creation process when making sims. sims 3 has potato face but with contour cc it gets real fun and diverse real quick ahah
edit: I'll also add that my biggest cas turn off for 4 is the lack of actual sliders. it's so difficult to be precise when your tools are push and pull :/

My husband and I eloped in June and then had a real wedding in December. Sometimes it’s better because you get to enjoy your actual marriage date.

Where I live getting the driving lesson is one of the hardest thing for young people. It cost 900 dollars, and the average pay is about 500 dollars..
And you have to listen 40 hours in a classroom, than take tha hardest test possible. And if you succeed you have to drive 40 hours next to a teacher. And in the final driving there are to police officer and the teacher next to you. It's a nightmare!😵💫😵💫😵💫
I got the OG Sims right after the second came out because my dad found it on sale. I've only ever play that and Sims 4. Quite a difference

We had cookies in place of a cake and slushees.
My aunt tried buying a cake and everything we told her no…she ended up doing it and the we had it put on a wheel cart and one of my friends fallowed her and kept reminding her it was her cake😂
Also had it all (ceremony and reception) in the church to keep alcohol out. (My family are all horrible alcoholics) one of my cousins was promptly escorted out by the pastor because they brought in wine and such.😅😂
Needless to say we ran out pretty quickly to go to a food truck festival 😂
My family were all frustrated and have been telling me we were going to be divorced in a year….its been a few now😂
If anything ive cut a lot of my problematic family off. Therapy has helped.
Oh and the cringiest thing was me putting my husband’s wedding band on the wrong hand. We were both just done and wanting to run because we both hate being on display/ center of attention. 😂
Oh my favorite though was we both wore crazy goofy socks 😂 so much fun.

My husband and I had a small chapel wedding last summer, but we are planning a big wedding in the church I grew up going to. The wedding will be in April of this year. So, it's not weird to get married one day and hold the wedding later on.
I don't think it's abnormal to file a marriage before a wedding. I know some couples around where I live did the same thing because it's more practical than going with traditional ways.

You need to buy a microphone with a volume knob and a mute button right on the microphone It's usually below where you speak into the mic. Since you obviously don't have a soundboard or sound mixer which would allow you to adjust your volume which is crazy because you're very successful rich streamer it makes sense for you to get a mixer for your sound but if you don't want to do all that work a USB mic with a volume and mute button right on the mic is all you need

Why is the washing machine and dryer in the garage and not the kitchen? Is this an American thing? It's so strange to me. I'm from England UK and never seen this anywhere. Also toilet roll is the wrong wayy round and to low :( Wont the dressing gown be floating or does it move with the door? I've had many people on both sides of my family have cancer , some didnt survive and including one of my cats :( i have to be so carful cos of this. My dad is still on meds cos of it.

I wish you could’ve changed that green bed color in the kids room in the first house it looked nice I just personally thought it .. was a little to bright for the house . But it’s kids so it’s dine😅
@parkerwofford7502 Yeah.. seems like the kids are in on the theme of the house. Not much individuality in the style and colors of the different rooms, but there aren't specific sims tied to each room. That makes the green bed a bit more reasonable as well.

I'm going to be that typical asshole right now. Is seriously wrong to not change your last name to Dan's name. When you have kids and if you have a son or a daughter you can't give him your last name Sims, you have to give them dance last name because he's the man of the house He's a husband whether you want to accept that or not He's the leader. And they're his legacy you just help so I think it's disrespectful to a man or a father if you don't take his last name and give it to his kids. But you're very young and naive and you were born in such a horrible decade that's way too woke and insane so I don't blame you for being the way you are because everyone is like you that's your age. Hyphenating your last name is good. Because it wasn't do is it'll show your kids that you don't value their father or the family values I don't really care if he's a leader or blah blah blah but it shows your kids how to act when they grow older. And if they adopt your values of not taking his last name then they won't do it either when they're older and that's dividing behavior. You should be one whole unit and move as a unit a family unit. And before anybody comes at me I have the right to say my opinion and you guys have the right to talk shit to me It is what it is. Especially since he moved to America for you instead of you going to the UK? Don't you think he deserves you having his last name? It's a beautiful respectful loyalty driven love driven thing
