As someone who plays guitar. that sound at 7:16 is the action of either a finger or pick sliding on a guitar string. you hear it a lot when transitioning to a new note or chord, sometimes the artist will enhance that sound to be more noticeable and it works really well in songs like this.
The screetching sound you mentioned is actually from the guitar itself, its actually the motion when you move your finger across the same wire quckly (moving a note up). Keep in mind that guitar wires arent smooth if you take a look at them from closer. It has a raspy texture that makes the perfect material for the sound you are describing

Amazing info thank you!
my best part is when Silco walk in and sit right before the music starts. perfect timing for my favorite character.

I believe "The Line" by Twenty One Pilots was originally made for his grandmother, so technically that song wasn't written for Arcane.
Love this song then the kiddy part made it even better
No all of the songs were made for arcane
Heavy is the crown was made for the lol worlds tho right ? Or maybe it was another version of the song that was used in the show, but yeah
They used the acoustic version for arcane. The song was probably made for arcane and for worlds both.
@@MRST0R it's written for both knowing both contexts so yes
Other of the best songs are "wasterland" and his music video is so sad!
