    Very nice of you to make this video! I wasn't quite able to eliminate all wind noise in my clips, but it's certainly an improvement. That's what I get for shooting with the internal mics, the wind noise is super loud and covers the entire low to mid spectrum. I already bought an external mic with one of these fuzzy covers, works great against wind!

    I went over the steps repeatedly. when I choose vocal channel I get the 1st window that you closed. I close, but then whether I put the vocal channel on the timeline box to the left, timeline above or on a single clip, When I open the inspector and click on the area I'd put it, I don't get that window that says vocal channel. It's audio but volume, pan, pitch, speed change, EQ. I ws on the Fairlight. went back since you were on edit and tried there and putting on the timeline, I didn't even get the 1st EQ box. Then I tried on a clip and got that and closed but then the Inspector had even less.

      Hi. If you are using Davinci 17, then it has moved. You need to go to inspector and click on effects, next to audio.

      Hi. Did you have a wind protector on your mic while filming? This technique doesn't get rid of the sound, but takes the bass out of it so it's less rumbly and annoying. It works best if you already had the wind protector, but if not then you could still hear the wind as it will be much louder, but you should be able to lessen the effects of it. Also use the other tools alongside it.

    • @fjellyo3261
      @fjellyo3261 Год назад +2

      @@IanMiddletonPhotographyTravel nope I had no wind protector. I used only the internal microphone of a DJI action 2. Honestly I don't know what most settings in Davin I actually do 🤣🤣. I think it softened the noise somehow, but I am not 100% sure. It also changes the other "wanted" sounds I think. It seems like I am rather a person that would like to do better production first because then editing is easier (less complicated) 😅. I should get a mic.

    • @IanMiddletonPhotographyTravel
      @IanMiddletonPhotographyTravel  Год назад +1

      @@fjellyo3261 You need to play around with all the other equalizer settings to compensate. And yes, get an external mic and wind protector. Makes a huge difference.
