Been going to Scary Farm for over a decade now and while HHN may have the IPs and higher budget, the vibes of Knott’s are just unmatched imho. Great video as always Kevin!
While I do think Widows is scary, I think they should have stuck with the theme in the first part of the house, and stayed with the corrupt, decaying convalescent home full of body horror. The last half feels like it veers off too far into sci fi creature feature, and I don't think it has the impact that the first half does. Bloodlines suffered terribly when they gutted the interactive laser tag portion, and without it, it can't really stand on its own. I know why they had to do it, but the house should have gotten a total rework afterward. I'll be sad to see Waxworks go, it's such an incredibly strong house. Definitely one for the records.
Going for the first time in a couple of weeks! Is fast pass worth it for this event? I’m going 05 Oct which is a Saturday, curious to know what wait times for the mazes are like?!
The thing I notice with the houses between all the parks is there doesn't seem to be guide's through these ones. When you were showing the Universal houses there seem to be people in uniforms standing around between the different transition points moving you from room to room in the houses, kind of breaks the emersion seeing the actors inside then someone not in costume. On this video I didn't see that and seemed like you could some what take your time and look at the props. Also noticed its kind of hard to work out what is a prop and what is a human in the costume which makes the jump scares better. Again it amazes me how much wonderful Halloween stuff you have over there. Also quick question with the scare actors outside is there away to enjoy it all and not be scared by say a scared actor dressed as a Clown if you have a specific fear ( dolls, clown, things like that ) can you show something to say please don't jump out at me if your dressed like this but you still want to enjoy it all. Its always made me curiose as I'm terrified of clowns but would still love to enjoy the rest of the zone. Just not be scared the crap out off.
Well HHN had the first Sinema Slasher house in 2018 and Knotts Slasher house came out in 2023 so I guess you could say Knotts copied, but both houses are very thematically different; HHNs house is more campy and comedic while Knotts is going for a more serious scary horror slasher feel so I really think they are unique houses that just happen to share a movie theatre centric theme.
I’m the “Orlando hommie” it was good talking to you. It was a really fun night.

This place looks like the Meow Wolf of Halloween, the artistic detail is insane
I keep thinking of the movie "forgetting Sarah Marshall" lol
I went this past Saturday I have to say Knott’s scary farm is hands down way better then HHN. The merch is better too

You shouldn't need fast pass til Oct
Most of the mazes were only 5 minutes to 15 minutes. We did all the mazes before 11pm and did all the scare zones
@@josephtisnado7901 Thanks that's very helpful! Glad I didn't drop the $200!!
Evil popcorn

Kevin, Allison your wife is so pretty.
24:50 now who copied who i thought HHN was doing a cinema slasher 2 this year where you do the same thing walking through movie sets??
Technically knotts scary farm started before HHN.
