I played Act I and I was really amazed by the game, the characters, and the story. I haven't played Act II, but I will buy it on Steam to show support because I do believe that this game has a lot of potential, and I'll be looking forward to Act III and everything else coming up. What this guy is doing that few other dev teams do is break down feedback and a chart a new path forward with this information. If AAA companies did this we wouldn't have such stale games. Retrospection is so important in the software development industry, but so few do it. It makes me outrageously happy to see this happening here with an indie dev.

I personally would not mind waiting an extra month to August if it means act 3 is well thought-out and developed well. I value a strong storyline with character development alongside choices impacting each decision. If you try to cram everything into a two month time frame and it doesn't work, then push it back and allow the game to show its true potential - real fans will appreciate the time put into the project, especially with this being the 3rd installment
This is just for the first part of Act 3 but yes we will have much more time to start the act off right. I imagine the whole act will be done this fall.

I do understand there were challenges, and that you are working on them. You're 20 and I think it's impressive what you've done this far... But can we not talk a little about the awesome things that you could perhaps turn a little profit out of, low hanging fruits? For example, I love the soundtrack, and it's sad that there's no soundtrack selector or player in this game. I've paid for DLCs for other VNs or games, just to get the soundtrack in a separate package, and honestly, I'd be super happy with a Steam DLC for $5 with the soundtrack. The music is already made, just deliver it on a silver platter to us :) One thing I believe would add A LOT to the game is the option to have a "Photo Book" for each character, and scene revisiting option. Make one global, so various walkthroughs of the game would fill in the book, and each playthrough would add new scenes or photos. That's a way superior for of achievements, and again, it's all already made, just make a nice gui for it :) Also, would it hurt the game to show the three stats (values) that the KCT is made up of, on the stats page, rather than only "Loyal"? Perhaps show them as progress bars, or just numbers on the nice little chart graphics you already have there? I think you are making something awesome here, and the characters are developing into something I, personally, love to follow more, like a photo book, character sheet, etc. GREAT POTENTIAL HERE !!!
This game is prefect. I hope the storyline plot until the main character graduate from college and happy ending with the girls choose to move forward with🙂
Here's my thoughts on Act 2: I feel like part of the reason people said it didn't feel complete/long enough was because of the branching from Act 1 (Wolves vs Apes). Majority of people have their 1 playthrough so completing Act 2 in 2 hours was too short even though there might have been 3 hours of content added to the game. The more you branch the more stories lines you need to write/code/etc thus they all get shorter. I applaud you for listening to fans/patreons early on regarding this but it is the downside. Also it seemed early on Act 2's cliffhanger would be heading to Europe. The MC is going around asking people to go and I don't believe the MC had the chance to ask everyone by the time the cliffhanger does happen. Only one story seemed to be completed that was introduced in Act 2 which was the fundraiser. If the original goal was to get to say leaving for Europe as the cliffhanger (like boarding the plane) but time cut it short, then the release should have been pushed back regardless of promised dates. The stopping point just didn't seem to be complete and felt hallow. Yes I was disappointed in it yet I'll still purchase Act 3 on steam. I believe in second chances and you seem to be taking it to heart. Take your time with it. See if your patreons would accept 4-6 weeks between updates and if there is a back to back 6 week thus a month without an update see how you can make it up. I think people want a more complete update/act/game than one pushed out because of pressure.
Imma be completely honest. i just got the game, both 1 & soon after 2, I can say I dont really think it was bad. i can agree its short for act 2 but like I still enjoyed myself. i found myself already playing two completely different character simply just for the fun of it. This game is fun as fuck & highkey addicting. I cant wait to see what act 3 has in store
After readin steam reviews/forum and looking at your chart from 0:48 its more about game itself (and expectations) rather then bugs. It was a slow burn that was over when it started to be good. Act one was sillimar but much longer overall, with more polished dialogues and choices. Also in this type of games every new chapter is harder to make (too many decisions connected to one outcome) so you need to spend more time on shorter part of the game to make it work.
I really liked act 2. Not sure who Samantha is though, I never see her in anything other than the scene that plays with Lauren on the main title screen. So... that was awkward. Lol.
Never played any kind of game like it, friend told me about it and we were dying of laughter in discord, he was skipping thru everything and I was like fuck that ima DL and engage in story and holy fuck I got hooked 😂 lets get a Nora/ms.rose scene already 😂😂😂 act 2 felt rushed but I still enjoyed it. Didn’t think a dev in a game like this to take it serious but hey, I can’t wait for part 3. 👍
Just a suggestion i think act 3 should be free to people who have already purchased act 2 i do not think many people want to buy act 2 compared to act one but more people would if it included more content like act 3 etc
i personally liked act 2 but if you feel like the game isn’t ready or there is any issues behind the scenes don’t hesitate to push release dates back. Almost everyone will take Quality over a rushed product
A part a month doesn't seem healthy, act 2 felt like an act with 2 part only, where 1 felt like it had 4 in it. You should take more time, it has potential, but right now if someone has to choose between CK and being a D the choice is kind of easy in term of quality AND quantity.
