    Thank you so much Gambian Police for your swift and dedicated investigation into this tragic murder. For a small and under resourced force you have done an incredible job. I'm from the UK where it's full of CCTV cameras and the police have a multitude of technologies and resources at their finger tips yet many murders remain unsolved.
    Thank you again.

      Early days. I think we should wait until he's charged and convicted before congratulating the police. The "job" hasn't been done until then.

    There is no point in showing the weapon used in the commission of the crime. The crime weapon should not have been handled bare-handed by the police...fingerprints for forensics are compromised by handling evidence bare-handed!

      Further investigations need to be done as to whether he was alone on this crime. Plus forensic evidence needs to be collected from the implements to clarify without a reasonable doubt.

    Jobs are needed in the Gambia. The people are lovely but there is nothing created for them to do. So Business people will be a target. Then people will be afraid to come there. Deal with the poverty that is in the country. The country have enough resources it don’t have to be so poor. God help the Gambians it’s in a big mess. The government need do a lot more.

    The Gambia police I commend you for such speed and a job well done. We are all Proud of You. Especially considering your limited resources. I am an AA and the U.S. with all its millions of dollars doesn't usually move this fast. Great job!!! RIP Shakina and now her family can get some closure.

    That’s true. These criminal tactics are imported. Beware who you associate with and don’t hesitate to turn in the bad apples.

      Exactly brother they should used gloves and put all the evidence in a plastic bag. Gambia let's be professional as we are coping from the west.

    Here's one question please. Is this referring to the same policeman who is speaking on the video ?
    "The building material dealer said police officer Boto Keita and his subordinates were part of the alleged criminal syndicate group, and NIA Officer Dembo Mbye was the leading figure in the group.
    “If they see your signature, they can duplicate it. This was how they were taking people’s properties,” the witness said.
    The witness described them as wicked people."

    The Gambia now is not safe, we all have to be prepared and moving with weapons for our own safety, cuz there is no security in the Gambia.
    Thanks to everyone

  • @MissDallas262
    @MissDallas262 8 месяцев назад

    The last time I remember when a crime was committed, the police didn’t even have powder or brush to take fingerprint. If that is the hammer that the crime was committed with why have they voted to show the public and why is he handling the hammer with his hands and it is not in a bag isn’t that destroying evidence I sometimes wonder with the Gambian police how they were trained really the UK police need to take over because as far as I’m concerned, they don’t even have a car to go to a crime. You have to use your car or pay Taxi for them to come most of the time crimes are not reported because nothing is going to be done they come they look and they leave are you hear nothing from them?
