I love that this game & community have evolved so quickly that I found this video (which was only posted 3 weeks ago) after watching Spiff's VOD playing the DLC... the same DLC that gets mentioned a few times in the video like it's months away from release. If the game itself changes this fast, I can only imagine how challenging it was to finish the video when there were new WRs every week or so! These types of videos celebrating speedrunning communities are such hidden gems, and the wry presentation & gaming overlays like the Mario Kart bit are chef's kiss! 👌😎

You and Nick and Gringus and the rest of the speed guys are awesome, they show up in the game’s discord server all the time. Peaks of Yore has been an amazing community experience for me
35:00 I love this silly meme. though the Ergh came from the other dramas in the server, i'm starting to come back to the speedrunning, people from the community know i had a 'bugged out' game or something, some would call it i cheated, and as the meme says, i didn't take it personally nor too deep to heart. Love the video, really entertaining, and now we have more maps to speed climb ❤
