  • This video covers the replacement of the innertube and tire on a utility dump cart normally used with zero turn and other lawn tractors. The same wheel is used on most wheelbarrows, and the lessons covered can also be used for wheelbarrow tire repairs.

OMG! You're fabulous!! I have the exact cart and am replacing the tires (my very first time doing this). I did everything you instructed, and it worked well! Thank you!!

Why didn't you just replace the tube? It is impossible to wear out the tire itself except for leaks, and a new tube solves the leak issue. Seems like replacing the tire is not necessary. Please help me understand as I need to do thisjob myself as cheap as possible. Also, what size tube did you use? Thanks in advance.

My tires were in bad shape so I didn’t mind spending the extra to replace the tire and tube. I replaced both tires. I have no problem with your plan if your tire is in good shape and want to save the money. Tube size was 4.8x4x8. You can see more details by clicking on the Amazon link in the description below the video. There will be offers to buy tubes only if that is what you prefer. Thanks for watching and good luck with the repair.

@@FixItDepot When I turned on the RUclips to respond the first thing I see is the size (me bad). Anyway, have you ever heard of putting some ATF (automatic transmission fluid) into tires to stop air leaks? I may try that first. If I do put a new tube in, without replacing the tire it looks like I only have to break the bead on one side and do the work all from one side.

I never heard of the transmission fluid trick. Let me know if it works. Yes just break one bead for tube install.
