cover discussions - Louie Lopez

We sit down with Louie on day one of Northwest Open at Seek Skate Camp this weekend and he tells some tales of his covers. His first Thrasher from 2017 was shot by Jon Coulthard as well as the 2nd one at the LFP building. Michael Burnett shot the 3rd Thrasher cover in Rancho Cucamonga, and Jon jumps back in to shoot the 4th cover in Paris. Jelle Keppens shot the 2017 The Skateboard Mag cover shot in Paris. His very first cover was in 2013 while on Flip for Sidewalk magazine based in England. Andrew Peters shot the recreation of Guy Mariano's ollie for the cover of the Monster Children 2016 Photo Annual. And we round things out with Closer issue 3's cover shot by Matt Price at USC. Shout out Ryan Lee and Guy Mariano and Chris Jones. AUG 2023
