I've trespassed a lot and I'm praying hard to be free
I’ve been where you are. I don’t know your trespass, but I do know the struggle. That strong hold gripped me for four years. During that time the Lord used my deceased mother to come to me in dreams to get me to repent. The last dream I had where she said, in a stern voice, why don’t you do what you need to do so we can move on from here!? It took consistently laying before God and repenting (travailing) before God. I don’t remember when or even how I turned away, but with much prayer and fasting God delivered me. It’s been over 15 years now. Once God delivered me I never looked back. It took me awhile to forgive myself. You can do it. The enemy will come to try to keep you away from God, but you have to resist him either by pleading the blood of Jesus, singing a song or quoting a scripture or all three. I will pray with you because I know first hand how cunning Satan can be with his tricks. Be blessed and be encouraged. You can do this!❤
