Dubs wasnt really tested till today and i have to admit he did unreal today. Some great saves even with taking out Burn and getting a kick to the chest. Was rough to watch with there 15 man team. The officials may aswell have had spurs shirts on. Brilliaint to see Botman back and once the rust wore off he looked solid. BDB has been unreal this season hands down. The levels of play Howe get out of arguably "average" players is unreal. The ref needs an investigation started on him. 9+ fowls on our players. Blood spilt and medical called. Not a single yellow till basicly stoppage time. Bang out of order that!

As a Spurs fan I don’t think a draw would have been unfair, but a 1-2 defeat wasn’t exactly a robbery either. We just didn’t do enough and Newcastle defended very well. When Dragusin had to go off because of the flu we didn’t have any CB left in the team and I was fearing the worst. We did alright in the 2nd anyway, but we’re just to thin at the moment to really put opponents under the cosh. We’re in a tough place right now and I don’t see how we can get out of it at the moment.

Well said, fair play. Thought it was going to be tight but glad we got 3 points after some squeaky bum moments in the second half. You rode your luck in the 1st, we did in the 2nd. Draw may have been fair but you didn't quite do enough making actual chances despite your general dominance in the 2nd half.
You'll be fine re. relegation but not likely to do much in the league other than that. Cup maybe, if you blow hot on those days, you've got the players to do more than you have.

A very good victory. Dug deep and battled for the shirt to the end. Delighted with how well Botman and Burn played and Dubravka was brilliant in goal. Gordon ran his arse off and scored a brilliant goal. Isak looked tired and I think the number of games caught up a little bit but still scored. As for the ref I have never seen a worse performance from a match official. It wasn’t just the big decision like then pen. Simple things like giving throw ins to Spurs when it was clearly a Toon ball. Utterly disgusting. But we won so Howay the lads. CL football here we come

The man United result was good but expected - the spurs result today was outstanding in a different way, very professional, very streetwise. I don’t normally have issues with referees but I agree that the referee seemed very dodgy today so winning this game was even better. Newcastle played well in the first half. Spurs are a good side and had chances.
Newcastle could have made it 3 - 1 and kill the game. There was a clear chance where AG who was brilliant had a chance put it on a plate for Isak but he went for goal. That would have made it a lot easier Murphy played terrific, keeper was great and big Joe for me has been excellent. He breaks up play, doubles up when Spurs attack on the wings. Eddie had to play different , ofcourse, its away to Spurs in a PL game. You can't go all out there as you will pay for it. With a big game coming up, Eddie did well to take off Isak on 85min. Eddie knew there was a long added time coming. Team performance and if Newcastle keep winning, they will take Forest's place in the top 4. They may finish above Chelsea but need to keep winning games. They have the players and they must believe they can win every game.

In situations where there have been obvious controversial decisions made by the Referee or VAR, all of the officials involved should be held accountable for their actions during that football match.
There also needs to be a publicly available analysis of the assessment made of the investigation in order to keep them honest. Breaches should be dealt with like they are in any other job. Warnings, Penalties and Dismissals if needed.
It's hard to argue against the alleged perceived corruption of officials that benefit the 'Top 6', when you see officiating like this on a regular basis.
Not just against Newcastle, but against other 'upcoming' teams in the League.
Referee Andrew Madley is the worst I have seen.
Just about every game he is involved in there are some unreliable and dishonest decisions made.
The Premier League needs to do better.

Great reaction, great result. Those calling for Eddie's head a few weeks ago should be ashamed.

Why should they we were poor not long ago and Howe was fairly questioned he’s turned it round credit it to him but he was criticised and rightly so why should fans be ashamed for that lol
