Jeff Carver Correct and the 16" 50 caliber guns could penetrate 26" of Japanese armor whereas th 18" Japanese guns were unreliable against US armored modern battelships. It also depends on range and angle of impact of course.
+The “BurnToCold” BurnCold26 I agree. I've shot at a broadside enemy from 5km away and every shot went over or under. Not a single hit. It's happened more than once.
USMCBloodz Sorry but both of those ships had a laughably inadequate fire control system compared to Iowa. FuMO 23 with wavelength of 82cm against Mk 13 with with 3cm. 3cm wavelength sets was true 'blindfire' radar fire-control. The Germans, Japanese, and Italians never developed sets of this capability. Sorry but you clearly don't know what you are talking about...
USMCBloodz And you showed me that you don't even understand what I said do you. Bismarck is worse in almost every category , the only aspect in where it is significantly better is optical fire control. Which is like taking the best knife to a gun fight. You suffer from an obvious NAZI bias. And this is all the time I am willing to waste on you.
+USMCBloodz Many ships hold that title of *"Strongest battleship"* for a considerable while, such as the US New York and Nevada classes, the British Admiral and Queen Elizabeth classes of capital ships. as well. Going back to the Admiral Class (HMS Hood), you could see how well that turned out didn't it? That never really holds out. Though she was fearsome, and looking at how long the Bismarck withstood that bombardment, they earn the title for amazing durability. However, in almost every category the Iowa is considerably better, Lubomir is right. I'm not denying when it came to leadership that either Lindemann or Langsdorff were superior, however you're being extremely bias. The Scharnhorst by far is one of my favorite ships of the Kreigsmarine, or of any navy (in my top 10s), but that is simply favoritism. The 28cm SK L/54.5, though fascinating as it is, is nothing compared to the older British 15" BL Mk.1. Same applies to the 38cm Sk C/34 L/52 of the Bismarck, though they were capable of high rates of fire compared to other navies 38/38.1cm caliber weaponry, the shells were considerably lighter, of the 3(?) shots that hit Rodney during the battle of Denmark Strait, one penetrated. However, she couldn't even hold up to her 'record' rate. For European Navies, undoubtedly the HMS Vanguard and Richelieu(s) were better than Bismarck. The British 15" BL Mk.1 still holds up strong, and the French Model 1935 38cm was as capable as the Bismarck's, but capable of reloading at any angle. The Iowas and even the South Dakotas for that matter were undoubtedly better in all categories except for optical gun training, and the fact the SoDaks could only make a top speed of 27kn. Yes the Germans were, and relatively still are a major leader in engineering, you are simply denying the fact that many of their creations, such as the Tiger family of tanks, sidearms, naval technology were simply when regarding resources *too far ahead of their time*.
I think going up to the B/C 1/2 area is a really bad idea in this ship. It limits your targets, and forces your teammates in weaker ships to tank the enemy battleships.
You got the Armor Value Wrong for the North Carolina, The North Carolina has 305mm of Armor, its armor is better than Iowa's, North Carolinas a better Brawling ship, Iowa is better for fighting at range due to its faster shell travel time
The NC had 16in/45 cal guns while the Iowa had 16in/50cal guns.
Keep up the great content Ubiru, you're going to be big someday.
I f*cking love the USS Iowa. Suche a beautiful and great ship *__*
"Fuso is a fast ship" Damn that 24 knots tho.....
Gotta say, I love the "skip to the combat" annotation.
The aren't the same guns as the North Carolinas those are 16"45 Caliber guns the Iowas have 16"50 Caliber guns:D

Incredible breakdown of stats.
In reality the Iowa one of the most accurate guns of any battleship.
I like how you do your videos. Great work! Just subbed.
Best review is the best!
The E-75 of Warships!
The Iowa is the best battleship ever built EVER
the American Line In World of warships need a accuracy buff

It's the sad faith of American BBS, they were the best in terms of technology and everything but in this game I guess that can be shit.... Sadly
The BurnCold26
Especially the Iowas. The Mark 7 16"50s are some of the best naval rifles put to sea.
The"Big Stick" USS Iowa
nice game and good video.
Bravo.
Good video!
The best battleship ever build.
What do you mean by better ? In one on one situation ?

USMCBloodz Thankyou for freely admiting your bias.
