- Опубликовано: 14 мар 2021
- Pastor Mark tackles a much-debated topic of predestination in this sermon from Romans 9:1-13 and the question of whether we choose God or God chooses us and how a loving God could choose some people and not others.

Nice! The Lutheran position!
Great job best interpretation I believe I've ever heard
Mark I had this for Bible time and I didn't count but I would guess it had 8-9 breaks for ads. Idk if that's other people's experiences. Really good sermon though and it helped a ton.
Premium RUclips account. No commercials. And nothing is free.
But is it worth it? That's on you. Blessings
@@romans828. I know it's my choice to listen. But I think when people have the choice they might go somewhere else. Which means a really good message won't reach people. Also imagine how hard it would be to concentrate in church if 8-9 times you heard about Popeyes, the new Spiderman movie, CBD gummies, and a new gutter cleaning trick that will revolutionize the industry. I understand at the beginning and end but you choose if you want more and how many more if your video is over a certain time limit. 8-9 seemed excessive, but it was possible my internet kept going in and out so it was just restarting my ads which made it seem like there were more than there actually are. Anyways not saying my opinion is right just at a certain point ads can be distracting and excessive.
I noticed that with another YT pastor I was listening to. I wonder if they're doing it on purpose to discourage the messages? The Pastor has no say in how many commercials are put into the videos. I really enjoy his sermons. I get spoiled listening to teachers who provide such deep insights and connections in the word. When I go to a local church, I'm expecting the same kind of high level messages and when it's not there, I struggle to stay focused.
God is not willing that ANY are lost (2 Peter 3:9) but many go in the way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13-14). So God would save everyone, but most people use God-given freedom of choice to reject Him. God knows what you’ll do before you do it. That’s different than deciding what you’ll do and your ultimate destiny. God guides events, sets up kingdoms and takes them down, but He doesn’t override the free will of individuals. He calls them, shows them the Truth, but then they have to choose.
He loses none He died for.
I heard you say that you would like Jesus to vote--- HE does vote--- everything is under HIS sovereignty. He puts in corrupt government sometimes for HIS plans
At the beginning, he says "we respond to Jesus." But Total Depravity and Irresistible Grace say we cannot respond. This, What he's teaching here (and every time he presents the gospel) is not Calvinism.
Why didn't you bring up the Five Points of Calvinism?
Ok. The vast majority of Christians want the answer to this question right here. Does predestination and election mean God chose everyone to be saved and some will not, and he knows who they are. or just those he elected to be saved. And if so why witness to the lost if it doesn't matter because only the elect will be saved anyway. And we do not know who they are. That's not my belief but it's the most often asked.
Are you a Calvinist? With love!
The answer is no, God did not predestine everyone’s eternal destiny.
Abraham was never Jewish. Circumcision was not of the Jews, but was carried on by them. The Jews actually come from Judah who is Abraham's great grandchild. So there is no way that Abraham was ever a Jew or started Judaism or anything of the like.
To be fair there's really no agreed upon definition of terms. Rev says the synagogue of Satan aren't Jews. We're using different terminology than God today.
@@nothin2pruv They aren't Jews. Rev 2:9 and 3:9 indicate that there are some who call themselves Jews who are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. But it does not say that all who call themselves Jews are of the synagogue of Satan either which some people believe.
John was taken to the Lord's Day and told to write the letters to those churches so I presume that they are all present in the Lord's Day.
This guy is so wrong on so many levels on biblical principles. Many other things he talks about. I agree with
