Blimey! You are so adorable. I really like the way you talk. I could listen to you all day!
Happy times 💕😃💝
+Knitting I Love - 😊😘
Hi Ali,
Such a fun episode, thank you. The fox head looks interesting. I think I might try the deer head first. I love your spring socks, they are so cute. Thank you for sharing your "Sister's Book" what a lovely gift. I live in Northern California, there are a lot of days that the sun does not shine. Sometimes I get that grumpy face too!
+Jeri Bianca - thank you Jeri, I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😀 The animal heads book is really well written (from what I've used so far) - I'm really impressed!
Yes the grumpy teenage face 😂🙈xx
Super episode Ali - loved it being a long one. Your project bags were looking really good and your dyeing is still inspiring! Can't wait to see that fox come to life (not literally of course...).
+Eldenwood Craft - 😂 🦊 now that would be creepy ! Thank you for your kind words about my bags, I enjoy sewing but Patrick Grant would have a heart attack seeing my 'methods' 🙈xx
Vincent Van Gogh Painted A Starry Night.
+Sonia Guzman - thanks Sonia! That's it! Not Monet...dur! Love that painting 😊x
That shawl is lovely! Can't wait to see that finished fox. Hope your cough goes soon. (It wasn't annoying).
+Victoria Knits - aw thank you Victoria! Glad the pesky cough wasn't too annoying! Loving the Hotel of Bees pattern 🐝😊x
I really love your green yarn Ali. Handshake with me on sewing zippers. You're better than me. I think I really heed some lessons. Van Gogh painted Starry Night. It's one of my favourite paintings and favourite songs by Don Maclean. Lovely podcast.
+Crochet Cavalier - thank you! 😘 I'd forgotten about that Don Maclean song, beautiful song! I will think if that when I knit with it now 😊x
The Kate Selene yarn for the Hotel of Bees Shawl is so beautiful it reminds me of cherry blossoms, very suitable for the shawl :) It definitely shows up really well in the crochet fabric. I wonder how it looks like in knit fabric!
+Basic Stitch Knitting Podcast - Hi Celina! I wondered that too about the Kate Selene yarn...it really suits the crochet though 😊My eldest daughter thought it was like cherry blossoms too 🌸💖x
I must tell you - I just love your podcast - you are my favorite! Happy knitting to you today ! Or crochet - I need to finish up my toes on a pair of socks :-)
+Pamela Cooke - what a lovely thing to say! Thank you 😘 Enjoy your socks - nothing more satisfying than getting something finished and off the needles/hook 😘☺️x
Hello! Just subscribed!
+Asteride - hello and welcome! Thank you for subscribing ☺️x
Oh Ali, where did your book of Little sisters come from? I would love to get one made of my family, Thanks
+Jan Swarbrick - hi Jan! Sorry it's taken me so long to answer, I was checking with my sister ☺️ She tells me she got it from Snapfish x
What kind of dye did you use? Maybe you should soak it in a vinegar bath for awhile then rewash it .
+BeatlesFanSonia - it was a food safe acid dye from Devon Sun Yarns. Thanks for the tip - I will definitely try that! xx

your newest subscriber here :) for now :D lol
your Rav group link doesn't work.
Love the mitts :)
+TheZencha - Hi! Welcome and thanks for subscribing! And thanks for telling me about the link - I've updated it now to tell everyone how to find it, thank you 😊x
Ali,
Maybe one is bigger because that is one you have been trying on more. I'm new to knitting and I just completed my first pair of socks. I kept trying the first one I finished on so when I started knitting the second I had no idea if the size was correct because the first one was stretched.
Love your kool aid yarn 🍒
Do you think there is a market for hand dyed yarn dyed using something like Wiltons food grade dye?
Melissa🍀
Thank you! I loved trying the hand dyeing with Kool Aid. I’ve not heard of Wilton’s but I’m sure it would work as long as you have citric acid or vinegar xx
