*9:46** I just loved this part of the coin hunt. Something different and cool to see. Thanks Christopher. :)*
Glad you enjoyed! -CC
Wow what a collection of coins but the swimming 50p is the one that stands out
It really is! I wish I could have taken that home with me haha! -CC
The 1992/93 50p was the 🌟 of this collection. Having BUNC set from 1992 makes this set a favourite coin of mine
It is a really cool coin! -CC
@@BritanniaCoinCompany and rarer than Kew Gardens 😁
That Olympic swimmer with lines over face is a stunning coin 😄
I’d like the money it’s worth 😂
It certainly is. About as rare as 50ps get though! -CC
Enjoyed this stroll down the years in coins.
It was a really nice collection of coins! -CC
You can see why the Aquatic’s lines on the face was withdrawn just surprising that is was removed so late, but nice for collectors with deep pockets
Yes you are right! Certainly deeper than my pockets that is for sure haha -CC
Nice change to see the £5 and crowns.
Yeah it was quite fun having a mini hunt through them -CC
The 1998 definitive £2 coin was when they changed the portrait, I bet that was why they kept that coin 👍
The large 50ps I thought was possibly going to be a date run, but there was FAR more coins than dates 😂
However the aquatics is an absolute star,
I had the opportunity to buy one 6/7 years ago but felt it was overpriced, I wish I got it in hindsight as it was a fraction on the value nowadays 🤷♂️
Ps - also surprised you didn’t check the millennium £5 cons, as there are 3 variants.
There’s a 1999, 2000 and millennium dome edition 👍
Oh yes that could be why! The Aquatics was very cool to hold haha! -CC
It’s always fascinating to see what area of collecting someone has focused on and this persons interests was definitely Crowns, £5’s & £2’s
Some wonderful coins
Great stuff Christopher & BCC 👍🏻
Oh definitely! Coin collecting can be such a broad hobby it is amazing what different people specialise in -CC
I can’t pick a single one that I would not like to add to my collection lol😂 thanks BCC
Hahahaha I get like that at times. If I bought everything I'd want I'd be paying to work here! -CC
I like the chunky 50p's. The £5 coins of Concorde and Spitfire in colour looks really great as well.
They were lovely designs! -CC
Great job 👍
Apart from the Olympic..definitely the two Concord coins. Really interesting to see other collections.
They were really lovely designs! -CC
Some good stuff there and a lot of not so good. I do know a lot of lesser known 'mints' like to prey on their previous customers, especially the elderly.
Yes it was a bit of a mixture -CC
First early Aquatics coin I've seen. Very nice 👌. Also quite a few £5 coins that I don't have in my collection 🙂
It was kind of surreal to have it in my hands haha! I wish I could have taken it home with me -CC
Well it has to be the Aquatics & yes I did check the price way out of my range🥲 the Olympic set’s & I did like the Crown’s. 👌👍
Out of mine too sadly haha! -CC
Another great video. I'd love to find the early swimming 50p. I live in hope!
It is kind of surreal to have held on in my hands haha! -CC
Amazing even Christopher has never found it
One day I might haha! -CC
I want to collect newer Royal Mint coins but I dont want the bulk packaging involved and instead would like to use my current storage and display methods that I use with my pre decimals. Unsure if removing BUnc coins from their original packaging is a smart move but to be honest it doesnt matter too much. Its just a personal collection after all.
It is down to you really. Doing so will certainly lose quite a bit of the value of the coins but on the other hand if that is how you want to enjoy your collection then go for it! -CC
Definitely aquatic
Are medals and medallions (is there a difference) a popular thing to collect? Cheaper than coins ?
I'll have the Concorde coins, please 🙏 🙂
It varies from person to person really. Not all coin collectors will have an interest in medals. Feel free to contact us if you want that Concorde coin -CC
👍👍👍👍👌
Thanks! -CC
+1 🇸🇪🤝🇬🇧
Thank you! -CC
well that makes my kew gardens a bit on the low side ..
Mine too hahaha! -CC
