Angelica Hale, born around 2007, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who gained fame after competing in the 12th season of America's Got Talent. She became the runner-up to winner Darci Lynne, making her the youngest runner-up in the show's history. Angelica's journey wasn't easy, as she had to overcome severe health issues at a young age. She contracted a severe bacterial pneumonia at the age of four, which led to septic shock and multiple organ failure. After spending 80 days in the hospital and a year and a half on dialysis, she received a life-saving kidney transplant from her mother.
Angelica began taking singing lessons soon after her recovery and won a singing competition for five- to nine-year-olds. She has performed for many charitable functions and has become the first child ambassador of the National Kidney Foundation. After her success on America's Got Talent, she performed at various events and released her debut single "Feel the Magic," a pop song she wrote herself.
In addition to her singing career, Angelica has also ventured into acting. She filmed her first film, American Reject, in 2018 and voiced the titular character in the animated series Maya Unstoppable, which premiered in 2019. She is also the national spokesperson for Sepsis Alliance's "It's About TIME" campaign, which raises awareness for sepsis as a medical emergency.

Thanks for reacting to Angelica's performance of "Let it Go" at the Broadway Dreams event. Your edit is correct that she was 7 years old at this time. She was only 6 years old when she attended the Broadway Dreams Atlanta workshop where she also sang this song in a skit with Titus Burgess playing the role of her father. At the time of this performance, her vocal coach was Trisha Grey of "Sing Like a Star" Studios in Atlanta. Angelica brought in Tara Simon to help her with the live shows during Season 12 of AGT and again during AGT: The Champions. Tara did a reaction video to Angelica's Golden Buzzer performance of "Fight Song" where she explains how they did the vocal mapping to get the "wow factor" and audience reaction. As Heidi says below, Tara also posted an interview with Angelica that really highlights her personality. The look on Tara's face when Angelica just nonchalantly says "Now that I'm going through puberty..." So let's talk about choreography and rehearsing. We all know that Angelica is a perfectionist, and she rehearses each song until she could literally sing it in her sleep. That is one reason why she is so comfortable on stage and can focus on bringing the emotions and interacting with the audience. She also has perfect pitch so hitting the notes isn't a problem. She posted a video with a side-by-side of a rehearsal and the performance, and they are pretty much identical, even down to the tiniest hand movements. You are probably right that her vocal coaches help with some of the choreography, especially body position, hand movements, etc. But when it comes to using the stage, especially at events far from her coaches, it's not clear whether Angelica herself maps out the choreo or whether she has help. Some shows, like this one and the PBS Capitol Fourth, have an entire crew and director and probably help design the production. But I think that Angelica contributes a lot more to her performances, even at 7, than we are giving her credit for.
