A bit late in my commentary but this is a classic case of why you 'never give up' and keep fighting. Brittany Force has been out there hammering away for years and throughout those years, just got better and better. That's on you Brittany and now your a World Champion and ain't nobody can take that away.

I watched this live and I was so happy, so proud of you,and I knew how proud your family & John must have been. This brought tears to my eyes, like it's doing looking back at this. I feel scared everytime you race. You have become so much faster since then. Guess I'll always have these feelings as long as you race, but every year, every weekend I'll be looking for you. Good luck forever and I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
Love this family, love these girls, and I feel like my family wins every time they win! TY JFR! You have kept the spot I love close to my family's heart for years! My daughter loves the force girls! Such an inspiration to young women everywhere! I hope we get the chance to make an event next season! We love us some NHRA!

Old Griz ... I was just thinking the same thing !!! .... Drag racing is going to be like NASCAR once the superstars of the sport are gone ! Schumacher and Kalitta is really all that is left in top fuel. Danica Patrick is gone from NASCAR. Once Jeff Gordon and a couple others leave, The popularity of NASCAR is going to decrease even further than it already has !!! .... I understand they (NASCAR) can't even fill seats anymore the way they used to and rule changes in the program is partially the blame !

Keith Moreland Most rounds do not win championships, domination in the last six events is what it takes, all other events are preparation and positioning for the countdown. Feel bad for Steve, but Britt won 18 of 24 Countdown rounds.

Sorry guys. I'm just not a fan of the "countdown". The best overall team during the entire season should be champions. Same goes for Ron Capps. He was amazing all year until the last couple of races.
