Thunderous / Sorikkun is really the perfect song to represent Korea. From the culture celebrating appeal from the music video to this stage, the traditional instruments used in the song, the witty lyrics, to the modern Hanboks that is basically Stray Kids’ uniform at this point. Not only that, they also wrote, composed, and produced this song themselves. Ever since I saw the mv and heard the song, I’ve always thought that Thunderous is the peak of kpop. Modern music mixed with tradition. Modern enough to show how far music has evolved but also traditional enough to show how it began. A beautiful piece that brought their country to life on that stage in front of their president and Dubai vips. This is kpop. This is Stray Kids. Well done.

I guess Stray Kids were chosen to be part of the opening of Korean Pavilion with the song Thunderous aka Sorikkun The song is not just a diss track to antis/haters but also paying homage to the art of Pansori (the ancient art of story-telling) and dokkaebi which is a part of the Korean culture.

I love how they incorporate MORE Korean elements to the performance (sound wise, that song has a lot of cultural aspects into it). And their energy was admirable, performing so close to the crowd is a really intimidating thing, they showed how professional they are 💜

I know them back then but only knew a few melody and lyrics of their hits. Recently I found myself enjoy their songs a lot cuz surprisingly it suits my taste. But, people judge their music isn't right! Music has a diverse genre and it never right to hate them just because SKZ's music didn't suit their taste! I'm glad they gain big popularity in global cuz I think in SK they didn't get much recognition. Oh and not to forget that they produce their music themselves, which means they could create a song that suits public taste but they stick to their unique colour and it's sth that should be compliment! ❤🤗
I'm so proud of my boys, it's not easy to perform in a crowd that's filled with world leaders but they were excellent. The standing ovation at the end was a tear jerker.

Y’all like this is so emotional for me, i have been a stay since predebut and there was a time, i think like 2nd half of 2019, and also when Levanter came out, i was starting to think stray kids were gonna stay underrated and slept on forever. But look how far they have come, look how far WE have come. Now they’re artists representing South-Korea in other countries and performing in front of their president, i couldn’t be any prouder

I am a new Stay and very proud of them. They performed in front of the president and VIP people and the performance is perfect like always. I became a Stay this year and have seen their videos of how hard they worked to reach where they are now and I am very proud to Stan this Kings👑 I will keep supporting them because they deserves it. Hope to meet them one day and go to their concerts.

I love how they incorporate MORE Korean elements to the performance (sound wise, that song has a lot of cultural aspects into it). And their energy was admirable, performing so close to the crowd is a really intimidating thing, they showed how professional they are 💜

Its funny how people call skz’s music ‘construction music’ when skz is literally the blueprint for this type of music. Almost all the 4th groups that debuted after them have released the same type of music as skz
I know them back then but only knew a few melody and lyrics of their hits. Recently I found myself enjoy their songs a lot cuz surprisingly it suits my taste. But, people judge their music isn't right! Music has a diverse genre and it never right to hate them just because SKZ's music didn't suit their taste! I'm glad they gain big popularity in global cuz I think in SK they didn't get much recognition. Oh and not to forget that they produce their music themselves, which means they could create a song that suits public taste but they stick to their unique colour and it's sth that should be compliment! ❤🤗

I'm so proud of my boys, it's not easy to perform in a crowd that's filled with world leaders but they were excellent. The standing ovation at the end was a tear jerker.
i went to the event a couple of hours before it started but barely saw anything due to the amount of stays / fans that were already there, just shows how much influence stray kids have

Y’all like this is so emotional for me, i have been a stay since predebut and there was a time, i think like 2nd half of 2019, and also when Levanter came out, i was starting to think stray kids were gonna stay underrated and slept on forever. But look how far they have come, look how far WE have come. Now they’re artists representing South-Korea in other countries and performing in front of their president, i couldn’t be any prouder

The song itself means a lot. No swearing, no embarrassing words, just about surpassing difficulty in becoming who they want to be. What a great song to perform. This is something to be proud of. If I am an idol, I would be proud to perform this as well. The lyrics are so meaningful and Stray Kidz is just pure talent. Incredible kpop idol. 😊 And yes! They always blow my mind 🤯 with every performance.
