Even animals have an amazing patience to teach children until they stand for this life; some times more than humans.
I've watched a number of these videos, and it' amazing that these
animals seem to use logic.
If something doesn't work from one angle, they know enough to try from
another angle, using their trunks legs to push and pull the little one
to safety.

The elephant is trying to help the calf out of the waterhold, few times. Since it is unsuccessful the elephant make the calf walk infront near to the other elephants. When the group of elephants saw the calf in the waterhole trying to get out, they help the calf to get out of it. This is because they are very sociable and family is important to them.
